A Delightful Tribute
mrszzn7 March 2024
I was afraid that no film could convey Vova's (Vladimir Radunsky's) talent, originality, human warmth and humour.

I was wrong: this documentary, though far from offering us an exhaustive picture (it would need at least another hour), does precisely this.

It gives a portrait of the artist and of the man in all of his humanity, quirks and antics included. All of what made Vova such a special person, so endearing to those who knew him well.

Through carefully picked examples of his multidimensional frame of work and conversations with some of his friends and colleagues, we are able to witness several aspects of Vova's persona - this enables us to form (or in the case of those who knew him, to treasure) our very own portrait, forever engraved in our minds.

Magical world of Dudunya's Art

The aesthetic world of Vladimir Radunsky (Vova, Dudunya) is truly unique! It is filled with unforgettable yet highly recognizable characters, meticulously crafted with immense skill and an absolutely magnificent, unparalleled sense of humor. And it couldn't have been any other way, because Vova himself, a wonderful artist endowed with incredibly refined artistic taste, had an unsurpassed wit and sense of humor. At the same time, his art was absolutely universal, appealing to everybody. I don't know a single child or adult who wouldn't fall in love with Vova's art after encountering it once. Creating a film that would convey the sparkling brightness of Vova's personality was no easy task. It's all the more amazing that they succeeded. I highly recommend indulging yourself by watching the film. Enjoy the magical world of Dudunya's Art.

Wonderful film

Wonderful and heartwarming, this film beautifully captures the essence of one of the best book artists of our times, offering a rare opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes into Vladimir Radunsky's work and tragically short life.

I've always had a deep appreciation for Vladimir's books and have been collecting them for quite some time. It was truly fascinating to gain insights into the making of these beautifully illustrated books. Vladimir himself, was a complex and one-of-a-kind character, and his personality adds a unique dimension to the narrative. The film, in addition to being informative, also brings out a delightful sense of humor.
