There's some lovely stuff between Spencer and Maddy and it's nice to have them in the know about Pippa.Sasha is just annoying, however.She's behaving exactly the same way as Maddy, acting like she's still got a claim on Spencer after breaking up with him, except Maddy actually has the self-awareness to realise deep down that it's not up to her who he dates.When Sasha announces she's going back to Broken Hill, the audience probably aren't supposed to cheer.
Disappointingly, but predictably, John's stint at the Diner turns out to be rather brief.Irene is slightly harsh in sacking him, not for the first time recently, although it was foolish of him to try and hide his mishap.There's some nice interplay with him and Marilyn, especially her reluctance to turn around when she hears the explosion behind her.
