This movie does not only cater to a certain section of society.
Most movies either fit the category of commercial cinema or art cinema, But it takes a lot to succeed at both and bring everyone closer.
Which is what makes me leave this review by creating an account even though I do not believe in leaving my internet foot print behind, Yes it is that good.
They have captured the very essence of rural Gujarati movies which is the drama of emotions and friendships found in day to day life of the working class, along with the way of talking and everything.
And all that has been conveyed very crisply which I believe the complex story rightfully required also.
The characters were very humane and yet intriguing at the same time.
It is a very good blend of all sorts, A1 soundtrack,A1 acting,A1 dialogues,A1 cinematography,A1 story. Which makes sense why it is a long movie,it brings justice to everyone's caliber.
It might be hard to watch a 3h movie for some people given the current short attention span of our brains due to social media reels and shorts, But yet all that fails to stop you from being interested in each frame..almost like Iruvar,It's long but you don't want to miss out.
To those who find it too long should challenge themselves by watching something other than 1min reels once in a while In order to enjoy better things in life.
I liked that it allowed me to take time to get into the film, To connect to it organically instead of pushing me into it right away like a YouTube video or mass produced OTT movies, They have not tried to make something which is like a trend but they have tried to make something which is times-less.

Saw "Samandar," a Gujarati movie, and had a wonderful cinematic experience. This sets the standard for how Gujarati movies ought to be produced. Those who bemoan the lack of excellent and high-caliber Gujarati films ought to see this one. This film is also recommended viewing for fans of South Industry films such as Salaar, KGF, and Pushpa. You will get the impression that you are watching Samandar with friends or family because it is the ideal entertainer. Vishal Vada Vala shows off his skills as a director by skillfully directing the movie.
