I knew from looking at the hard core stars, this would be a film with plenty of soft core action, sex, and nudity. So much for the three stars. What I was hoping for was a smart spoof on "The Big Bang Theory." That I didn't get. Our two geeks, Walter and Stanley live with Chad the stud who gets all the hot chicks. Our geeks work to devise a love potion and later an android who digs hot chicks.

The scientific language was too pseudo and too few to be good. There are good soft core spoofs. This isn't one of them. Watch it for the babes, but don't expect much more.

Where could I even start?

The Big Bust Theory was a recommendation and I'm getting the impression it was a prank one! The Big Bust Theory is very hard to call a movie, very hard indeed.

It tells the story of two junior scientists who are having no luck with the ladies so decide to use their scientific knowledge to get one including making love potion and entirely making a girl from scratch.

This very concept is more than a little creepy if you think about it. But we're not talking Weird Science (1985) here it's an altogether different film.

To be blunt it's basically softcore porn, the sex scenes make up a good third of the film and are considerably more graphic than you'd expect from an actual movie. Looking at the cast this suddenly becomes less shocking considering you'll see Christine Nguyen, Mary Carey and Jazy Berlin.

I've seen movies like this before but they've tended to at least have some substance to them. This does not, it is substanceless (That's a thing right?).

This will appeal to teenagers and nobody else.

When videotape became the prime recording medium over film, the overall quality of what got put to production went down. Film was relatively expensive, video is just a fraction in cost. So some plots and stories that never would have seen the sound stage get a chance.

Big Bust Theory is just one example of this phenomenon. It happened in the porn industry as well. Video killed the "golden age of porn" because it cost practically nothing to film the worst stories and plots.

BBT has such a flimsy and moronic plot, you will feel serious guilt over wasting the viewing time on this bust of a "movie." It's supposed to be a spoof on Big Bang Theory and really, the only representation of the original source is that they can both be shortened to "BBT." There's some enticing sexy girls all in badly simulated "cable ready" sex. There's terrible dialogue and even worse acting. Damned videotape....
