What the hell did I just watch??

I don't see how the reviews can be good for this movie. It was pretty confusing and had no character depth. Not one minute during this movie did I feel bad for either of the main characters. I really want the time of my life back spent watching this film.

I came here for the Teresa Palmer...

And I left with gratitude for a great experience. Seriously, I read a review from another user and they described characters having no depth. This film was all about depth of character. Teresa Palmer was much deeper here than I had given her credit for. Take Me Home Tonight who?

That Webber guy? Well, he won't get any award nominations for his acting, but apparently he directed this film or something. So, I have to give them both due credit. A fantastic duo. Yo.. Teresa Palmer can act. She reeled me into the world of frustration and virtue of her character like I was a fish on a hook. Give me more. Where can I see more films like this? Great artistry. Thank you, Teresa and Mark.

Excellent Film
MovieHeartGirl16 October 2016
I was very impressed by this film and the fact that it was written by the two married (in real life) leads. Teresa Palmer has just come on my radar in the past few weeks--WOW. She's an amazing actress. She's beautiful, but she's much more than that--she conveys such an intelligence, sensitivity, and range. It's hard to take your eyes off of her. Her husband, who plays the male lead, is also really good. Watch out when you read the reviews because there are two MAJOR spoilers that you might run across regarding this film that you don't want to know ahead of time. My only criticism was that these two things weren't explored in more depth in the film (the aftermath in terms of career & reputation, and repercussions on the individuals and their relationship). This was still an excellent film with great performances. I wish everyone involved continued success!

Really special

Warning: Spoilers
This was a great film. I'm single so I do enjoy seeing a couple having troubles. It makes me put things in perspective. Good solid acting from all of the cast in this film. The main married couple who were having difficulties were just great. The wife played by an Australian actress really gave a great performance as a young girl who had mental issues and her strong spirit with which she tried to cope with her troubles . She was insecure and her husband was also insecure , at first glance you would wonder why they were together , two messed up people who were staying together perhaps out of a fear of leaving one another and breaking up their home life and their relationship with their child. The husband is a photographer surrounded by pretty girls whilst his wife stays at home exploring the voices in her head perhaps brought about from so much time alone and her troubles from her childhood. The film stands out as a quality work. I can't really fault it. It's had me thinking all day , you know a good film when you have flashbacks. The stand out performance in this film was the girl , I think she put 110% into her role. Definitely recommend this.
