- Debbie Martin, a pastor's wife, is found dead and her death is ruled a suicide, but soon her mother, Susan Parker, receives information that things may be different than they appeared to be at first. As the plot unfolds, more details surface that point in the direction of the dead woman's husband Andrew Martin, a beloved pastor. But evidence is hard to come by and the judge who ruled in this case is known to be reluctant to change any of his rulings, including her death certificate. With the help of her husband and friends Susan enlists attorney Wade Thompson and, together, they embark on the difficult journey of trying to uncover enough evidence to bring the suspected murderer to trial. In spite of suspicious findings that further reinforce the notion that the husband may, indeed, be the killer, the chief of police continues to believe they still don't have enough to arrest Pastor Martin. Susan finally gets a break when Andrew's love interest is discovered. Will Susan Parker accomplish her goal of bringing to justice the man she is sure killed her daughter?
