Nice heartwarming doc

For many queer and gender nonbinary youth, bringing the person they want to their school prom may not be an option. The reason may be their feelings of not wanting to rock the boat and stay under the radar or an outright prohibition by school administrators

Regardless, a group of teens and staff at GAB come together in order to make it happen. From Decorations to Fundraising, to getting a venue and all endless meetings, Queer Prom takes you on an inside track to see how these wonderful teens and staff seek to pull off Queer Prom 2009

It's a nice, heartwarming documentary and I like seeing LGBTQ films that aren't about the standard tropes of coming out, homophobia or AIDS
