This movie is very eye opening to what life is like in that profession. Beautifully shot and great story.

Compelling Cinema

Things are never quite as they seem, and this movie transports us into a world unlike most of us will ever be forced to enter. Good, sympathetic performances and spot on direction make this a compelling experience

This was free on Amazon Video, and I still consider it a waste of money

This was perhaps the worst movie I have ever seen. Besides for the god awful acting, it has literally no plot. The movie just ended. Nothing was wrapped up, any potential story line just went away. Horrible, horrible movie. The escort and the drug dealer have a past, then they start to hook up and then nothing happens. The stripper is an alcoholic, starts stripping again, then moves away. And what is with the dirty dishes? The escort takes a you escort under her wings for no reason, that story goes nowhere. The escort starts her own male escort website, that story goes nowhere. Truly an awful movie

Great Filmmaking!

Watched this the other night because a friend recommended it to me and I found it to be very moving in a real way. It's basically a character study of a sex worker who is a single mother and these crazy characters come into her life creating a dysfunctional family in her house. It definitely has some drama but it's never dull. It has some action and even some funny moments. The acting was good, and Eric Roberts was fun to watch even though he's in every indie film nowadays. He's always interesting. What I found most interesting about this film was how they got away with filming these scenes inside the casinos. Very guerrilla. And I read something online about how the lead actress is a real sex worker and this is all her real story, even the kids are hers. In a way, it's almost cinema verite. The scenes between the mother and daughter were very emotional and now I see why. Glad I came across this rare indie. Definitely paints a different and very real portrait of Vegas.

Gritty and real

Very nicely done look at Las Vegas. The director does a nice job combining the reality of documentary filmmaking with a very nice artistic touch. The movie gets behind the glitz of Vegas to show what really goes on. Nice combo of docu drama that delivery nicely. I recommend

Love me some Eric Roberts

I have been a long time fan of Eric Roberts and he did not disappoint in this movie. Sex workers face such a stigma in our society so it is nice to see an on screen depiction that doesn't feed the sterotype. This movie finds the humanity in the spiritually bankrupt landscape of Las Vegas. This film is full of great moments and nuance.
