drugs, sex and poorly written plot

The actor that is supposed to play the singer Aca Lucas, not only does he not resemble the singer, he can't even lip sync to the songs he sings in the movie and it's really hard to watch.

The plot of the movie is really bad (if there is one), there are no characters that are memorable, you can't relate to any of them. There are no emotions in the movie, the acting s is plane.

Everything is based around drugs, alcohol and sex.. with really bad sex scenes.

Everyone lost interest by half of the movie.

This is just my opinion, but as far as I can tell, all other people that saw the movie with me agree with this statement.

First part of the Trilogy

Action drama for all lovers of Balkan music. The film shows a rock artist who is forced to switch from rock to folk music in order to solve his problems due to the crises.

There are many twists and turns in the film. Effects and frames are excellent. As are the tones. The dialogues are not bad, but I believe that they will be much better and more original in the sequel, which is perhaps one of weaknesses. The film shows the transformations of the young artist as he adapts to the new circumstances, while he is not aware that he is slowly sinking deeper and deeper. Vices that warp him to distance himself from his family. Passion for music and willingness to risk everything for fame and success.

Local Serbian actors who got into the role perfectly.

It remains to be seen how the main character will be assembled in the continuation of this trilogy.

Memorable

This is more than i expected and i expected a lot to be honest. Every actor did great job, but because of this film, I am in love with some actors and i follow them from now. Thats how good they show in film. Plot is fantastic, just like film about Aca Lukas should be. Great, great, great job. Yes, there is a lot drugs, girls etc. Scenes but what did u expect? Its about charachter not about disney.

I will rewatch this when it come to cinemas in Montenegro, this film deserved that. And this is trilogy so i cant wait next films, it gonna be even better. Thank you Hype production, thank you Aca Lukas, Thank you every possible actor. Cheers from Montenegro.

Avatar of modern singer

I watched this movie with my girlfriend at the cinema last night.

The movie is great! First of all, the film was based on the life of the famous singer Ace Lucas. However, although this is a film about Aca Lucas, it is actually not at the same time, because it is about completely different characters and modern times.

As we see in the movie, the action takes place in modern times and not the 80s, 90s or early 2000s. We see modern betting shops, casinos, telephones, cars, laptops, clothes, the city, etc.. So to me this looks more like what it would be like in the present time when Peja Kovac, a young artist, was making his way, but he was given the spirit and life situations of Ace Lukas as avatar.

A lot of dynamics, sometimes at the top and sometimes at the bottom, and so several times throughout the film. It often goes from one extreme to the other. Just when he gets rid of some problems or people who are bothering him, some even deeper situations appear, from which he finds it increasingly difficult to get out. And with that, we also see how the personality of the actor deteriorates, how he matures, accepts the world of business into which he sinks deeper and deeper, being overtaken by vices.

The scenes are great as are the shots. Lately, Serbian domestic cinematography has been filming a lot of scenes: drugs, sex, crime, so the domestic audience has gotten a little used to those scenes. However, if this film had been released a couple of years earlier, it would certainly have had an even stronger effect among the audience.
