- Clementine: [is over for a playdate at Caillou's house] A teddy bear and a bunny!
- [picks up Caillou's teddy and bunny]
- Clementine: They can be our children!
- Caillou: [upset] That's MY teddy! And MY bunny!
- Narrator: Caillou didn't like anybody touching his teddy or his bunny without his permission.
- [Clementine walks over to a tea set as Caillou scratches his head]
- Clementine: Let's have a tea party for them! Come and sit down.
- Caillou: [now angry] Give them back!
- [stamps his foot]
- Caillou: They're mine!
- [stomps over to Clementine]
- Clementine: [still cheerfully] Don't be silly, Caillou! Sit down and play nicely!
- Caillou: I don't WANT to play nicely!
- Clementine: [briefly turns away and frowns] What's the matter?
- Caillou: I don't want to play families!
- [close-up of his face, shakes his head violently]
- Caillou: I want to play
- [explodes, extreme close-up of his mouth]
- Caillou: DINOSAURS!
- [growls and storms off]
- Clementine: Okay... well... the dinosaurs can be our children too!
- [watches Caillou walk into a corner]
- Narrator: [lowers her voice] Caillou didn't like that idea at all!
- Caillou: [sniffling back tears] I don't want to play with you anymore!
- [Clementine becomes saddened as well]
- Caillou: I don't like you anymore!
- [runs downstairs, yells]
- Caillou: Mommy!
