Don't bother with this one

Poor Bob had shingles when this was due to be filmed so Lee Mack was drafted in to take Bob's place. Nothing against Lee Mack but the real magic to this show comes in the genuine warmth and affection that Paul and Bob have for each other. Once that was gone, and not to mention that Paul would obviously miss Bob, this was never going to work. They should have cancelled the trip until Bob could make it because the real shame is that the location was stunning. The whole episode is awkward and I'm not even going to go into the fact that Lee doesn't fish because he's a vegan and keeps throwing a magnet into the water to try and catch metal!!

With Bob unwell rather than cancel this episode the makers inexplicably feature a vegan comedian who is anti fishing, Bob may well have had a hand in this to wind Paul up but the episode which sees Lee Mack join Paul after a video call with Bob revealing he has shingles quickly becomes a bit tedious. Lee tries magnet fishing and kite flying whilst poor Paul Whitehouse looks utterly unimpressed. It's a terrible episode of an otherwise excellent series and if you are a fan of Bob and Paul please skip to episode 6 immediately, sorry Lee, please stick to would you lie to me! Bob, please get better soon.
