According to the tweet, he has had a severe sore throat since late Thursday night, and after going for tests on Friday morning, he was diagnosed positive for the Covid-19 virus. As a result, he has to cancel his appearances at the two events in this weekend — "Voice Comic Live - Margaret and Bessatsu Margaret 60th Anniversary Memorial Performance" in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on May 18 and the "TV anime My New Boss Is Goofy Dotennen Party" event in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, on May 19.
