Read allLee is desperate to make Lucy jealous so he goes on a date with marriage-obsessed Rachel, taking her to a high class restaurant where he crosses swords with a lordly waiter. Finding Rachel odd Lee nonetheless continues taking her to the same restaurant. Back at the flat Rachel gets very amorous with Lee and - almost - succeeds in making Lucy jealous.

    Rachel

This was a fun episode of 'Not Going Out'. It's not always the most consistent show episode on episode, but when it gets it right, it's a very funny one.

Playing very much on the 'Fatal Attraction' idea, this proves to be a well-written and delivered episode, with lots of lovely moments.

You certainly can't fault 'Not Going Out' for not having enough gags, and I don't to this day think it gets the recognition it deserves. The BBC tried to axe it, but it's survived and gone through many incarnations and cast changes along the way.

Overall, this was a fun and engaging 30 mins of pure comic fun.

Be careful who you ask out.

In an attempt to make Lucy jealous, Lee decides it's time to start dating, he meets the very attractive, Rachel.

It's funny, it's a solid opening, balanced out with a wonderful, laugh out loud funny ending. I think we're begining to see the coming together of Lee and Lucy.

Plenty of Fatal Attraction gags and references throughout, so many funny moments, once again though it's Daisy who steals the show, great costumes and one liners for her, but her final act is the funniest moment in the episode.

Joanna Bobin is very good as Rachel, she starts off so calm and measured, her character changes up as the episode develops, she's great.

    It's good, 7/10.
