Brilliant Documentary, I Totally recommend
bignastybastard27 August 2013
This documentary is documenting the last tour of a wrestler named Nigel McGuiness who is about to retire from the world of pro-wrestling. Around 2009 Nigel McGuiness who was performing as Desmond Wolfe in TNA vanished without reason, the internet was buzzing with rumours of hepatitis, HIV, severe concussion and more but the wrestling world had no idea just what was truth and what was just rumours, this documentary is also Nigel's platform for him to get the truth out.

As a fan of Nigel I couldn't wait to see this. Nigel discusses growing up and being a young boy with a dream and how in his 20's he saved the money to travel to America to train. Nigel wrestled everywhere for very little money all while trying to pay his dues in the world of wrestling in hopes to reach a top wrestling promotion such as WWE. Nigel talks about the dark side of his journey, the friends he's lost, the injuries he's acquired and the stress of life on the road.

What I love about this documentary is Nigel does a fantastic job of discussing what wrestling really is and how he interprets it as an art form which is something I wish people would understand more.

Sadly for Nigel his dream of reaching WWE was not meant to be due to reasons I don't want to say as its a spoiler and when he did reach at top promotion (TNA)he was his by what can only be described as bad luck. Nigel McGuiness is now trying to come to terms with the fact that his dream of Wrestling stardom just isn't meant to be.

It is a great documentary and a must watch, very sad at times but in my opinion its a travesty that WWE didn't sign this man when he can work better than 99% of their roster. I would also say he's one of the top 5 British wrestlers to ever break America. I will always remember his amazing matches with Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) Tyler Black and Doug Williams. Thank you Nigel.

Definitely recommend this documentary
