Terrible as expected

This movie is bad, don't get me wrong, but people need to understand that every movie has some sort of niche. There are MANY worse movies than this, the reviews are split into 1/10 and 10/10 ratings (both of the ratings have an obvious source, but I won't tackle it here)

People that gave this 1/10 are closer to the reality of what the real rating should be, while the 10/10 reviews are... something, don't want to get into assumptions.

There's not much going on in this movie. This is made for Romanians only. Don't let anything fool you in this regard. Even though this has a huge US culture mixed in, it's not for outsiders. It's very targeted, all the jokes are insides jokes that we as Romanians may or may not find funny, foreigners won't get 99% of the jokes.

Everything is stereotypical offensive joke, sexist jokes, and all -ist you can think of. It's over the top when it comes to what it wants to do, but achieving it proved impossible

Romanian cinema (and not only) are far from Hollywood, it's not even close. It feels like we just discovered cinema, however this movie is a stepping stone for a better future. Movies will be bad for a long time from now, the directors should just learn from the mistakes and one day, maybe a good movie will come out.

I can't recommend this, however it's not as bad as people make it out to be. The worst offender here is the effects that look ripped straight from the 80s, and it's not the style the movie wanted to approach. 4/10.

Boring

90% boring , same old jokes , no action.

We expected a lot better , the first movie was a lot better.

This second part had the same jokes , nothing new , we expected a lot more action, maybe also from the main star actor ... Danny Trejo ... and in general the action was boring , even some actors seem to act poor in some scenes.

Maybe the scenes with mamaia were the best part of the movie , she had some fun jokes and very good acting so probably that was the best part of the movie. Maybe overall it could have been worse but for sure everyone expected a lot better.

Weak movie with weak plot.

If you have a day when you have absolutely nothing to do, and you have a day when you have absolutely nothing PRODUCTIVE to do, and that day is boring af and it can't go any worse then that, well.. then you buy a ticket to this movie, go watch it, go home, sleep and tomorrow will be better in any certain way. The plot is very weak, the "comedy" is very low and superficial, no fun no smartness, just a lot of advertising of the movie and pretty much that's it, real critics will definitely share my opinion and put down this movie. I hoped for a better performance compared with the first movie but nah.... just... nah.

A movie made just for money

It is often said, but it's especially true in this case: this movie seems to have been made purely for profit. The film is riddled with an array of poor jokes, overshadowing what little story there is. The narrative feels disjointed, more a series of random events than a coherent plot, and the overall effect is rather cringe-worthy. My advice is to think twice before spending your money on this movie. While supporting Romanian cinema is important, it's equally crucial to hold producers accountable for the quality of their content. This film, unfortunately, falls short of the standard we should expect and demand from our national cinema.

Poor movie

If some are offended by the jokes in the film, it means that those people thought they were coming to an art film and they went to the wrong theater.

The producers communicated during the promotional period in which direction the film is going.

I hope they make the numbers that increase their confidence.

There were some very subtle references and I'm really glad that the script written by Alex Cotet was not just with thick strokes.

I hope you make more films that will spark academic discussions on the part of hypocrites who don't know where they are with a compass and a map in hand.

Bots to get high rating

This movie is horrible movie, just horrible and they paid bots to get high rating. I don't understand if they made a movie for money what did they expect? I thought that everyone is assumed when making a film. Did they really expect people to be stupid? Bots don't help, people will continue to write their true opinions about movies. I don't know who had the impression that would do something, but it's a very, very bad idea. This is not how to promote a movie. It's not okay to lie to people and it means you're not happy with the work you've done if you need bots. You have all the influencers talking about the movie, which is horrible, and now you're buying bots?

Low quality movie

I can't even call it a movie, is just a long commercial which is full of bad conversation week conversation, and on overall action that just leaves you very cringe. I wouldn't recommend it to no one who values their time because it is a big waste of your time if you decide to watch this.. I feel ashamed that they used Danny Trejo, and some pretty big Romanian personalities and they didn't even make them justice.

The plot of the movie is very weak and it is filmed like a Balkan satire, which isn't even funny. It's just very sad to watch. The only thing that this movie did write is put a lot of money in advertising it.

Very bad jokes

The action of the film is boring, weak jokes, nothing new with the same things drugs, mafia, police and so one.

Everything is due to extremes to have success but is just ridiculous.

The investment may have been big, but it is not enough if the scenario is so weak and predictable. If you already see first part I think is enough to understand what happened in part two.

Matei Dima is very funny content creator for Romanian public but as an actor is rather disappointing. Codin Maticiuc is a good man and is trying to be funny but is not enough

You can totally skip this movie and save money and time.

For your time & wallet, avoid to go to this movie.

I respect that they ve tried to make a Romanian movie with actors like Dani Trejo, but you cant make a movie with just one good actor, lets say two/three who can act, but the rest of the cast was catastrophic.

The story was awful, but I have to admit that one of the points was to show romanian mentality in his true form, and they succed : make money with all costs, illegal ways are preferred.

Humor was bad, but thats just my opinion, for other people maybe this is their kind of humor, lets not judge this that much, but in overrall : bad actors, bad story, bad humor .. results .. bad movie.

Thats my opinion, I repeat, but also I think that any person who likes to watch movies/tv shows and develop a hobby can agree with me.

3/10 just because its romanian, have a nice day.

I even dont know where to start...every bit of it was awful,cinema,actors,music,so called jokes.danny trejo.s carachter was totaly unnecesary and usless,they brought him in for 500.000 dollars only for his name.first movie was berable but this is a straight catastrophe. Avoid it with any cost,i.m romanian and i feld ashammed with many of the forced situations created.

It will flop big time at box office and its very good,this kind of movies should not exist. To make matters worse,they are supported by the gaming slots industry,wich in Romania this is a huge problem among young people. They should be ashamed.

We are finally starting to have our own commercial films of American inspiration, but with Romanian flavors and essences! Cooler than the first Miami Bici and with stronger and funnier scenes and punch lines!

You can really see that the producers and actors learned from the first movie and tried and succeeded to top up their game and make a cool movie.

Very nice to see that almost all scenes were filmed in America. Piciu and Bila have more flavor that in the first Miami Bici, you can feel that their characters evolved and got their own take on what it means to be Romanian in America.

It would be nice for the third Miami Bici movie to bring America to Romania!

Very confusing plot/story

The production quality is good but the overall acting and story it follows doesn't make any sense.

It all happens suddenly,honestly the first one was way better.

They brought Danny Trejo and he only appeared for 5 minutes in the whole movie.

Doesn't really have any connection with the first one,starts right with the two guys Piciu and Bila held hostages in a Van. Then they move to a scene where they have 20k in debt,weren't supposed they got 50k in the ending of the first movie?

I couldn't give more than 2 stars,most people in the cinema complained about. I don't want to be rude but those are my opinions about it. If you want to watch it go watch it.

They absolutely didn't improved or at least stay consistent from the first movie

Miami Bici 2 is the sequel or rather wants to be a sequel to tge first movie Miami Beach. Unfortunately they didn't improved on the or at least stay consistent/on par with the first movie. It's really, really dissapointing.

Unfortunately, it should be expected. Since the Communist Revolution, we as romanians were almost (keyword here: almost) never been able to make quality movies. It's a downward spiral that apparently never ends. I mean, there's no quality control here so why they should even try? Let's bleed money just for the sake of being actors. Who knows, maybe some hot shot from Hollywood might notice us.

Seriously, it's really depressing if you really think about it. I can name 2 or 3 movies that were made by romanians that are worth watching. The rest is pure garbage. Wasted money and time. Just like this movie.

A movie that is so bad that it cannot be classified as a movie, and those who are in the movie are not actors but a bunch of trash people.

It is an extremely bad film that not only fails to deliver any funny moments, but also becomes a source of national embarrassment due to the actors' pitiful performances. The story is absurd and portrayed without any trace of talent by an unknown and completely uninspired actor. The actresses in this film completely lack charisma, talent, and the ability to act naturally.

They are only present to serve the purpose of showcasing the stupidity in this film. In a embarrassing and substanceless manner, these actors make a country the laughingstock through their unprofessional performances.

The screenplay is full of clichés and predictable situations, and the direction showcases a lack of creativity and originality in every frame of the film. Additionally, the editing is of questionable quality, and the soundtrack consists of a collection of banal and unoriginal songs.

In conclusion, this film is poorly made, where talentless actors do their best to make a fool of themselves and bring immense shame to the country. A complete failure in all its aspects, this film should be forgotten as soon as possible.

For your time & wallet, avoid to go to this movie.

I have never seen a more cringey and unfunny movie in my life. You can literally use it as a torture material for your enemies. Plain stupid and overused jokes, unrealistic characters (take the example of the grandma or Ion's girlfriend), bad acting, poor and unbelieveable plot (as if anybody could get a Visa, get to America and start smuggling drugs). Totally unwatchable, don't waste your time with it.

Thats my opinion, I repeat, but also I think that any person who likes to watch movies/tv shows and develop a hobby can agree with me.

not great, but great for a movie made in romania

Many of the other reviews dont actually think about this movie as being romanian, only because its filmed in los angeles doesnt mean it is hollywood level, because all of us only watch hollywood movies of course this movie doesnt reach that level (even tough i think its above some movies which were made at hollywood), we should judge this movie by the way it was made within a growing and small industry in romania and we should help this industry grow not hate as many of you do. You all expect it to have an oscar-worth plot with an instrustry which is almost non existent. My respect to the team.

Should have sticked with the 1st part

The first part was funny (especially as a romanian) but this 2nd part was so hard to watch. I can't understand why you had so many low budget special effects, we were expecting some good jokes...wtf happened?

The 1st part was funny, this part was so hard to watch. I felt like it was neverending, predictable jokes (very bad jokes).

I do not understand why I have to give so many details in this review. I will say it again, it was horrible to watch!!! HORRIBLE!!!

Matei/Codin expect more from you guys, this so bellow you, I can't even describe.

I really hope you will come up with a better movie than this insult.

Shameless ways of marketing

Firstly, I want to mention that I gave it 2 stars out of 10 just because I did not see the movie (yet - but I don't know if I am going to see it after reading many bad reviews from other users who already saw it).

The main reason of my rating is that they promote the movie by also promoting the misunderstanding, misleading, confusion and even corruption.

The Romanian Justice have already decided that FCSB Football Club and Steaua Bucharest are two different clubs and they have nothing in common.

Promoting a movie by disinformating people using words and ideas which contradict Court decisions is nothing else than a shameless way to bring more people to cinemas.

Disappointing.

Really bad

This movie is really, really bad. Not even worth watching it on netflix. Going to the movie theatre would just be a waste of time and money( which I did ). The plot is extremely weak and the movie is not funny at all. I smiled 2 or 3 times, but never laughed. This is supposed to be a comedy, but the jokes are bad. They tried to use the same type of jokes as in the first movie, but this kind of jokes only work once. The 2nd time was just boring. Getting famous people to play in the movie did not help at all. An lots of advertising during the movie. Looked more like a 100 minutes commercial. Avoid it, the movie is nothing worth.
