I recently saw Of All the Gin Joints and it meet all my expectations. It is a documentary that depicts the iconic restaurant Casablanca in Venice, California. This restaurant has been Family owned for generations and remains a local favorite today.
This movie is filled with the amazing story of multitude generations of the Haro Family. The love for the Restaurant, Staff and Family is heard with every interview. The struggle of owning and running a restaurant over decades in California. The Family interviews are honest and shows the true hard work needed in the Restaurant industry... Past, Present and Future.
The cinematography is excellent and the story is compelling.
