A poetic film with a moving story about life and death. The setting is a mysterious world. Very much like ours, but with small differences and a lovely retro look. The genre is natural realism and both the screenwriter and the cinematographer captures this magic to perfection. I love this genre and I love what they have done with it. The story is interesting and original. It made me think about life, death and responsibility. The film is full of subtext and raises some very interesting ethic questions. I have since it's realise used it as a teacher and with good results The visual site of the short film is very nice. The pictures are beautiful and the colours to die for. Some of the film seems a bit rushed and overplayed that's a shame since the rest is very well underplayed in this slow (read: lovely tempo) and underplayed, (almost) non vocal short film
