There's so much going on in "Rush" that I had to watch it a couple of times and it's one of those videos that audiences do need to keep coming
back to notice details and actions that come and go quickly, blink and miss. This Troye Sivan's video is a pure spectacle of vibrant colors and images,
a nice beat to go with them where he and his male and female dancers explore freedom, sensuality and sexuality at its purest and exciting form, through
fast choreographies, moments of fun, seducing glances, passionate kisses or showing some skin. Ever since
Pet Shop Boys videos like "Being Boring" that I haven't seen homoeroticism made with style, excitment and great artistic effect.
While the music genre isn't what I tend to hear, I must say that with those subsequent views I end up enjoying the song more and more, and that's how a song must conquer viewers and listeners on an ultimate effect: sell through the images. Those were sold in such a memorable fashion and powerful effect that can attract many audiences to the artist, and I haven't been part of such experiment in a long time. Kudos to everyone involved. 8/10.
