So as of writing this, I am the only person who has rated this episode a score lower than a 9/10. Quite frankly, I don't understand the hype. In general, this road trip bunch wasn't that good. But this was such a rocky start it made me worried for all the other episodes. Thankfully, the rest of the series wasn't as bad.
This episode might as well haven't even been made for this arc. It barely adds anything except a form of setup, which was at least in the freaking episode unlike other forms of media. There's barely anything to even say about the first half, it's just as boring - if not more, than Great Lakes Freakout, which was only a season ago.
The premise of this episode is also very misleading. The Bizarritorium ends up being closed and Lincoln steals a ring. Um... where's the cops, get this kid outta here. This ring ends up being cursed and it screws up everything the family does. Gee, where have I seen this plot before?
Speaking of that, the actual part of them being cursed isn't anything special. The animation is on point in the last few minutes but it doesn't help as everything else is so bad I wanted to jump off a bridge just watching it. You could also say that about any Loud House episode (the animation being good, not the bridge part), and at this point the last thing anyone wants to do is state the obvious.
I just don't even know what to do with this show anymore. Lola had like one good line but that's getting to the bottom of the barrel. I'm struggling to even find stuff to say about this episode. Just make this show all about Lola, I'd watch it then lmao.
1/10, go watch Curses from Brandy & Mr. Whiskers instead. At least this plot wasn't considered as generic in the early 2000's. Sorry this review is really short.
