- J.L. Carrozza's preferred version is the 60 minute "standard" cut. This cut has a quicker pace and has all the political scenes featuring and making mention of the Bush-like President character cut as well as a few "real world" scenes removed or massively shortened and some dialog removed throughout. Carrozza likes this cut because he feels it gets the same point across at a tighter run time.
- Carrozza is at work an "Extended Version" of the movie which will run 10 to 13 minutes longer. Among the differences are: The opening phone conversation between Alison and Derek is put back in the movie; the President on TV scene is put back in the film and replaces the first scene of Alison watching Wild Guitar (1962) on TV. The scene where Alison has a depressing dinner with her family is reinstated; the Derek break up, smoking at the river with Molly and "You lost your scholarship" exchange between Alison and her mother all are extended and have reinstated dialogue; a more little additional "waking up in Wonderland" footage; the Caterpillar scene is reinstated; Alison is shown walking in the field a little longer with more nature shots; there are a few additional shots of the gory decorations in the Hatter's house; the March Hare utters his final line before he dies which was removed from the international cut; the scene with Alison walking on the beach is extended slightly; a few extra shots of piked heads in the Red Queen's throne room, including a closer look at one in the effigy of Barack Obama; the Red Queen's dinner scene is extended significantly with a whole new opening and more screen time of the food being served; the final sword fight is extended slightly and the ending montage is extended with more footage used of Alison running on the track, more nature scenes, seeing Derek and Kim at school and talking to Molly where, unlike in the original cut, it's revealed that Alison and Molly are making protest posters for a political rally.
- The original assemble edit ran around 79 minutes and contained even more of the scenes Carrozza had shot. He may make this version available as a curiosity some day, though he dislikes it for it's plodding pace and messy sound design. It also contains burned in time-code in many shots to help Carrozza edit the raw HD footage to his cuts which were done with DV. It does however have the original unlooped performances of all the actors as well from the in-camera microphones.
