Newswomen 3

I have the entire set of "Newswomen" videos from Girlfriends Films, but in the episodes I've watched so far the title is a misnomer. In Volume 3 there is not a moment of news-gathering, newscasts or anything related to the premise, belying the fact that Girlfriends is successful as an assembly-line of arousing Lesbian porn, nothing more, nothing less.

There are characterizations, which prevents this from slipping into strict gonzo territory. Notable presence is India Summer, whose verbal skills allow her to pretty much dominate the action, at least the action that does not take place in the bedroom. She spends most of the intro to this lengthy segment gossiping, spreading rumors as well as elements of the truth about neighbors, on a visit to the new home of lovely Cherie DeVille.

The fact that the chief neighbors are a famous TV newscaster (Angela Summers) and weather girl (Randy Moore) is the only hook that justifies this video being slotted with "Newswomen" in the title. Chief scandal in the making is that Angela has a lesbian relationship with Aryana Augustine (as seen in previous episode) and Aryana makes an uncredited non-sex appearance in this one.

Cast is beautiful and the couplings are arousing, so clearly no complaints from the loyal Girlfriends brigade. But the absence of even soap operatics is a letdown - listening to the hens gossiping is far from entertaining.

Most outlandish plot ploy is India seducing Tanya Tate after their host DeVille suggests everybody try out lesbianism. I have seen Tanya doing her "virgin" routine recently in other videos and it is far from convincing given her Lesbian Goddess status in the Industry, but her several orgasms resulting from India's ministrations are quite authentic sounding.

Aaliiyah Love gets top billing humped by Cherie and is always fresh and appealing. Finale injects Jelena Jensen to hump Sommers in a highly contrived segment all about trying on lingerie - harking back all the way to the beginnings of the label in 2001 and its glamor foundations, as well as reminiscent of the delightful period "Pin-Up Girls" series, which is about due for another installment.
