Underrated series with an amazing soundtrack and message that follows monsters dealing with different issues as they undergo self discovery and unification through a repressed system that keeps them complacent and pitted against each other. Carlos instills ideas from a forgotten era that have been replaced by the drawbacks of industrialization. There are hidden powers at hand pushing subtle services and marketing programs through representatives, unaware of a sinister hidden agenda that isn't revealed until the end of the show. Overall a terrific show, feels inspired by Adventure Time and Flapjack.

One Of The Best New Series - For Kids But It's Really an Adult show

It's hard to describe this series without the fear of diminishing the credit it deserves not properly conveying how well written and executed it is. It's an episodic series/story so every episode builds on the other about a child (Carlo) that slept for 20 years wakes up to find his happy-go-lucky world has been taking over by a dictator-like-King (King Blair's) who's obsessed with making everyone in the world/kingdom "forget" about their past. This "past" refers to the time in which Carlo fell asleep before the "King" took over and is completely dedicated to keeping the populis obsessed with him and not this "new" kid (Carlo) that the majority of the population is now obsessed with. It's an amazing story concept that keeps your attention and laughing practically the entire time and also, my two kids (8, 6) absolutely love it. It's so well done as it presents itself as a kid show but it is really for the adults. Give it a shot, I was hooked after the first episode but since it's episodic, you HAVE to start at episode one. 10/10!

Great voice choices for the original Portuguese, Spanish and English! This show is not only entertaining for children but adults as well. It is about a boy who's been asleep for 20 years to find his entire world had changed. He teaches his adult friends to have fun and other life lessons along the way. It has an amazing soundtrack, animations and message! Highly recommend.
It touches today's societies obsession with social media and destruction of the land while keeping it light enough for children to digest.
The animations change through the eppisode it really reminded me of "The misadventures of Flap Jack" .

Seriously original and utterly fantastic! This is one of the most insanely inventive shows I have seen in a very very long time. Wonderful sound track. It was just plain fun. Has some of the most creative animation I have seen since Ren & Stimpy. Highly recommend watching this and being the kids along too if you have any.
