John Wick Alums Scott Adkins & Marko Zaror Are Deadly Enemies In Diablo Poster [Exclusive]
Image
After facing off against Keanu Reeves' iconic character in its most recent installment, John Wickfranchise vets Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror are now fighting each other in the first poster for Diablo. The action-thriller centers on Adkins as Kris Chaney, a man recently released from prison who takes the daughter of a Colombian gangster at the behest of her late mother. However, when the gangster enlists both the wider criminal underworld and the cold, calculated killer El Corvo, played by Zaror, the two find themselves the target of a deadly manhunt.

With a few weeks remaining until the movie hits select theaters, On Demand, and digital platforms on June 13, ScreenRant is proud to exclusively debut the first official key art for Diablo. The poster offers proper close-up looks at Adkins' Kris and Zaror's El Corvo as they aim their guns at enemies off-camera, while also highlighting the movie hails from...

“Think of them as a bonus”: Most Diablo 4 Builds Are Viable Without Mythics but Hunting Them Down Is the Real Endgame
Image
There comes a moment in every Diablo 4 player’s journey when they look deep into the glowing abyss of their stash, see seven different types of the same amulet, and ask themselves, “What am I even doing?” You’re out here juggling gear like it’s a fashion show with demons, chasing mythics like they’re Taylor Swift tickets, and wondering why your level 93 Druid still can’t survive a sneeze from Uber Lilith.

But hear this, you don’t need a mythic to have a good time. You don’t need one to feel powerful. In fact, some of the most cracked builds in the game are running around like they haven’t even heard the word mythic. They’re just vibing with triple-roll pants and a dream.

Let’s not pretend Diablo hasn’t always been about making the best of whatever dropped five minutes ago.

Image
When you think about ARPGs, Path of Exile is one of the first titles that comes to mind. However, there is another title in the mix that has slowly and steadily been making progress in the genre: Last Epoch. In a few days, it is set to release its 2nd Season: Tombs of the Erased.

The new season brings a load of exciting additions and changes to the game, potentially taking the title to the next level. This all comes at an interesting time, as Path of Exile 2‘s latest update, patch 0.20, has been met with overwhelming criticism.

‘Diablo 4’ Teases 2026 Expansion and New Class: Hell Just Got Hotter
Image
Blizzard Entertainment has shared a new roadmap for Diablo 4, and it looks like big things are coming in the next couple of years. According to the update, players can expect a new expansion in 2026—and possibly a brand-new class to go with it.

The roadmap was posted on Xbox Wire and shows what’s planned for 2025 and beyond. Some of the permanent updates in 2025 include new lair bosses, more Nightmare Dungeon activities, and even keyboard and mouse support for consoles. Seasonal content is also on the way, bringing fresh quests and new pets to collect.

To celebrate Diablo 4‘s second anniversary in June, Blizzard is planning two special collaborations with other franchises. We don’t know much about them yet, but Blizzard says the crossovers will match the dark and gritty style of the Diablo world.

Looking further ahead, the section of the roadmap for 2026 confirms a new expansion. Although...

Adkins, who is well-known to action fans thanks to his roles in the likes of the Undisputed franchise, Accident Man, Avengement, and One Shot, has finally seen his star rise thanks to his scene-stealing part as Killa Harkan, the head of the German Table, in John Wick: Chapter 4. Now, he’s fighting for his life as a prisoner of war.

New details have now emerged about the project, with the war action thriller changing its title from Death March to Prisoner of War. The world’s richest gamer has seen to it that he can plug in whenever he likes at his bureaucratic office in Washington, D.C., according to a report from Politico.

Conan O’Brien At SXSW Blizzard Video Game Chat: “I Want To Be In The Next ‘Diablo'”
Image
For those who didn’t know, 15 years ago late-night TV host Conan O’Brien got into gaming. He says he plays with Bill Hader. As such, he took the stage at SXSW on Tuesday with Blizzard Entertainment president Johanna Faries.

While Faries didn’t lay out any grand plans for Blizzard in terms of its games timeline, both acknowledged the passionate fanbase of gamers, how they should be listened to, and also how entertainment companies are now treating the video game industry seriously.

“What I found fascinating to me is that when I started in show business a long time ago, it was trying to get as many people as possible in superficial way,” said O’Brien.

“Now it’s not about me trying to get 50 million people, but people who are really paying attention to what I’m doing. It’s less horizontal and vertical,” the recent Oscar host said.

With Diablo 4 Not Including Loot Filters Now, Blizzard Should Make Pets More Useful By Letting Them Salvage Gear
Image
Like with any action RPG title, the looting system remains an important part of the Diablo 4 gameplay experience. It is essentially one of the small quality of life mechanics in the game that, if executed right, can be what makes the player stay for the long term.

Diablo 4 does not have a loot filter system yet | Blizzard

While Blizzard has been making improvements to various quality-of-life features, the absence of loot filters highlights another missed opportunity, making pets more useful by allowing them to automatically salvage gear.

Diablo 4 can finally make pets useful in the game Pets can technically become loot filters in Diablo 4 | Blizzard

In many action RPGs, loot filters help players streamline the player’s inventory by sorting it out through a threshold, which can be anything from rarity to usefulness. Diablo 4’s decision not to include this feature means that players must manually inspect and sort through...

‘Split Fiction’ Is a Psychedelic Co-op Thrill Ride That Goes Off the Rails

It’s safe to say that It Takes Two was a breakout success for Swedish developer Hazelight Studios. “We won’t ever say never to a loot filter, wholesale”: Blizzard’s Logic of Not Including a Loot Filter In Diablo 4 Is Annoying but Somehow It Makes Sense
Image
Few things are as divisive as loot management in dungeon-crawling action RPGs. Diablo 4 players have been clamoring for a loot filter since launch, but Blizzard seems determined to swim against the tide. Their reasoning? It’s not just about the loot—it’s about the whole darn economy.

While endgame players struggle with an overwhelming flood of items, Blizzard’s stance might feel a bit tone-deaf to some. Yet, in a twist worthy of Sanctuary itself, their logic isn’t entirely without merit. It’s just… different. And in true Blizzard fashion, they’ve managed to both address the issue and dodge it simultaneously.

Why Diablo 4′s loot philosophy is both maddening and methodical

Blizzard’s approach to loot in Diablo 4 is well-intentioned but can be frustrating for players drowning in drops. In a recent Q&a video, Game Designer...

With No Expansion Releasing in 2025, Diablo 4 Needs to Strengthen Its Seasonal Game

Unfortunately, reports suggest that Blizzard won’t release another Dlc. However, this could allow Blizzard to make some positive changes in regard to seasonal content.

Diablo 4 Needs to Steer Clear From a Major Companion Folly That Neverwinter Is a Victim Of
Image
Most RPGs today have some sort of companion or pet system. It’s especially true for ARPGs like Diablo 4, Neverwinter, and other games of the genre. But regardless of how cool these systems can be, the execution is what matters most. And that’s where we hope Blizzard doesn’t learn from Neverwinter’s mistakes.

There is no space for pay-to-win in the game. | Image Credit: Blizzard

In Neverwinter, all the good companions are locked behind paywalls, and it encourages a pay-to-win mentality. Since Diablo 4 finally got companions in the Vessel of Hatred expansion, we can assume that more are coming. We just hope Blizzard doesn’t make them pay to win too because there are a lot of other things to worry about right now.

Diablo 4’s Second Expansion is Slated for a 2026 Release But Blizzard Needs to Avoid its Misstep with Vessel of Hatred
Image
Blizzard Entertainment’s flagship series, Diablo received its fourth major installment in the form of Diablo 4 back on June 5, 2023. The game was quite successful, and received its first major Dlc, in the form of ‘Vessel of Hatred’ some time last year.

A second expansion has been confirmed to be in the works, but a recent presentation at Dice has confirmed some bad news – its inevitable delay to 2026. “I find it kind of silly”: Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 Letting You Steam Roll Through Enemies Makes For a “worse experience”

ARPGs have come a long way, with both Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 being some of the newer (and more popular) offerings in this particular genre of video games.Things have certainly changed since the first Diablo was released way back in 1996, with many of these changes being of the more controversial kind.

This is, at least, is the view that Diablo series creator David Brevik holds. A focus on speed and instant gratification over tactical combat can be quite disheartening, and Brevik elaborates more on this matter.

Coridden Review: An Indie RPG That Puts Shapeshifting Front and Center
Image
Coridden emerges as an action RPG with a distinctive central mechanic rarely explored in such depth: shapeshifting. Unlike sporadic transformations in other RPGs, the ability to change into various creatures serves as a fundamental gameplay element that deeply influences player experience.

The game world blends post-apocalyptic science fiction with medieval elements, creating an intriguing environment where advanced technology and ancient creatures exist side by side. This setting supports a narrative centered on family and survival, with players controlling one of four siblings investigating the mystery of their extraordinary abilities.

The game supports up to four-player cooperative gameplay, encouraging collaborative tactics and strategic teamwork. Players can experience the game individually or with companions, with the shapeshifting mechanics and interactions between human and animal forms offering unprecedented player freedom. Through these elements, Coridden carves out its own space among action RPG titles like Diablo or Path of Exile, presenting a distinctive experience for genre enthusiasts.

If you’ve ever played classic RPGs, you’ll know that one of the most fun aspects of it is being the most powerful person on the map. Games like Diablo 4, Path of Exile 2, Elden Ring, and others thrive on ultra-powerful builds.

However, creating builds in Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2 requires some level of planning. This could be difficult for players who are new. Choosing the right skills and equipment as well as exploring certain areas are vital when making the perfect player build.

Getting Mythic and Unique items in Diablo 4 is one of the best ways to power up in the game. These are both incredibly potent drops but equally difficult to acquire. However, once you get them, you can add these to your endgame build and use them to greatly improve your class builds.

The best method of farming Uniques in Diablo 4 is to beat the endgame bosses that are dispersed throughout the map. Most recent attention on Elon Musk has concerned his attendance at the second inauguration of President Donald Trump (and a distinctive salute he gave at the event that was cause for cheer among neo-Nazis). But we meanwhile got confirmation that his claims to gamer greatness were only possible thanks to other people putting in hours of work for him.

If you’ve been too mired in the political moment to catch up with this side scandal, the short version is that gamers have spent months compiling evidence that Musk isn...

Diablo 4 Could Be Coming To The Nintendo Switch 2 According To Leaks
Image
Nintendo players could be able to play Diablo 4 on the upcoming Switch 2 console later this year if the most recent leaks are accurate. The game, which was unable to run on the current Nintendo hardware, is reportedly in development for the Nintendo Switch 2. Both Diablo 2 and 3 are already available for the Nintendo Switch, which sets a standard that helps corroborate the leakers reveal as something that is not beyond the realm of possibility.

As shared by Reddit user IcePopsicleDragon, a popular and generally credible leaker, eXtas1s shared on their YouTube page several games which are reportedly coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 soon after its release.

Although leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, there are many reasons to suspect that this could be accurate information, despite the lack of an official announcement.

Diablo 4 might be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 port

While we’re all busy enjoying Diablo 4‘s latest season and the brand-new additions, Blizzard is planning to take on the fight against Path of Exile 2 by making a full-fledged port for its game for Nintendo’s next-generation handheld.

Diablo 4’s Campaign Is Crippled by a Fatal Flaw That’s Haunted the Game Since Day One
Image
As Diablo 4 prepares for its seventh season, the Season of Witchcraft, launching next Tuesday, there’s a fundamental issue with the game’s storytelling that needs to be addressed. While the game has made strides in certain areas, there’s one particular narrative choice that has been undermining the player experience since launch.

When will we get the front-row seats? | Image Credit: Blizzard Entertainment

It’s not about the mixed reception to the writing or the controversial story beats—those are subjective matters that players can debate. Rather, it’s about a core design philosophy that affects how we, as players, experience the events unfolding across Sanctuary.

As we approach another season of demonic warfare, perhaps it’s time to examine this overlooked aspect of the game’s narrative structure.

Always “wandering” a step behind in Diablo 4

From the moment we first set foot in Sanctuary, Diablo 4 has consistently positioned...

Diablo 4 Season 7: Season Of Witchcraft - Release Date, Rewards, Gameplay, & Story Details
Image
Continuing the regular release of new seasonal content, Diablo 4 has announced their seventh season, Season of Witchcraft, to be coming soon. This exciting season gives players a chance to take on the magical abilities of three witches, regardless of which class the player has chosen to play as. In return, players must help solve the mystery of who is stealing heads off the Tree of Whispers and clear the corruption that is spreading through Sanctuary as these heads transform into Frankenstein-like monsters.

While Season 6, Season of Hatred Rising, offered a bit less content than usual due to the simultaneous release of the Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred expansion, Season 7 is bouncing back with plenty of new story and gameplay mechanics for everyone. The Vessel of Hatred Dlc is not required to access the season, although there will be three new Runes added for VoH owners. However, the vast majority...

Larian Couldn’t Make Ultima 7 Because Games Unlike Diablo Would Not “get a publishing deal”
Image
Baldur’s Gate 3 has to be the biggest release of Larian Studios, and there’s no doubt about that. This hugely popular title even brought the Game of the Year award in 2023. Still, all of these couldn’t have happened if Larian CEO Swen Vincke had stayed firm on Ultima 7.

After Vincke’s development company rose to popularity with Divinity: Original Sin 2, he thought about carrying on that momentum. For that, the company needed to surface a Aaa title, more specifically Ultima, Baldur’s Gate, or a Fallout title. However, he couldn’t make Ultima 7, even after wanting to do it so much.

“Blizzard will never give us that”: GaaS Model Ensured That Diablo 4 Would Never Get a Highly Requested Feature

Asmongold Challenges Elon Musk to Prove His ‘Path of Exile 2’ Skills Amid Boosted Account Accusations: “There’s No Way He Played That Account”
Image
Most of you know Elon Musk as an incredibly successful billionaire CEO of several companies, and in recent times, an influencer on X. But, besides successfully running Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company, Neuralink, and other ventures, Musk is apparently also an avid gamer.

You shouldn’t be too surprised as Musk admitted in the past that he loves video games, and he discussed several major titles in the past like ‘Cyberpunk 2077,’ ‘Elden Ring,’ ‘Diablo 4,’ and most recently ‘Path of Exile 2.’

Musk doesn’t just play the games, he owns those games. He claimed to be one of the top players in ‘Diablo 4,’ with his account ranking in the global top 20 for a time. While this was technically true, it raised questions about how he achieved it. If you’re familiar with ‘Diablo 4’ (or any Diablo for that matter) you are likely aware that the main mechanic that this game (and similar games) has is grinding.

“It’s meant to last a long time”: Diablo 4 Was Built for Longevity Because It Does Not “throw everything at you at once”

The Diablo series has long been a household name in the action RPG genre. It has built a reputation for its fast-paced combat, dark atmosphere, and loot-driven gameplay. However, with the release of Diablo 4, Blizzard wanted to take a notably different approach compared to its predecessors.

Path of Exile 2 Hasn’t Killed Diablo 4, but Together They’ve Overwhelmed Last Epoch
Image
Path of Exile 2 has taken the gaming world by storm with its early access launch in December 2025 and quite obviously, it has been compared to Blizzard’s Diablo 4.

Dungeon crawler enthusiasts have been debating on whether Diablo 4 is better or if Path of Exile 2 holds the advantage. Whether Path of Exile 2 is truly the successor to Diablo 4 remains to be seen. However, it is absolutely certain now that both these titles have absolutely devastated Eleventh Hour Games’ Last Epoch.

Original Diablo Releasing on Game Pass Might Undermine Diablo 4 Season 7’s Momentum
Image
The game that birthed the action RPG genre as we know it today is about to find a new home on Game Pass. Starting January 14th, PC Game Pass subscribers will have the chance to experience Diablo in its purest form—where every descent into Tristram’s cathedral feels like a desperate fight for survival, and the mere mention of “fresh meat” was enough to send players scrambling for the nearest town portal.

While this announcement would typically be cause for celebration among fans of dungeon crawling and loot hunting, the timing raises some interesting questions. With Diablo 4′s Season 7 launching just a week later on January 21st, and the controversial Spiritborn saga finally reaching its conclusion, this classic’s arrival might just throw a wrench in Blizzard’s carefully laid plans.

And speaking of plans, let’s talk about that elephant...

“Your entire behavior is so dated”: Fortnite Content Creator Claims Adrian Dittman Is Elon Musk’s Secret Identity

A recent Fortnite stream hosted by Twitch streamer ConnorEatsPants recently reignited this conversation. During the stream, Connor mockingly pointed out similarities in their behavior and humor. How To Ascend In Path Of Exile 2
Image
Taking an Ascendancy is an important part of customizing your character build in the latter half of Path of Exile 2. In this complicated, Diablo-inspired action RPG system, you'll live or die by the strength of your own unique character build (or one you found in a PoE 2 build guide online). You'll choose everything from your character's class, to the equipment they use, to the skills they learn, to passive buffs that affect all of the above. It can get complicated, but only because of how deep it goes, how customizable every aspect of your character is.

And sometime in the game's second act, you'll have the opportunity to choose an Ascendancy class. This additional wrinkle in your character customization can be hard to understand at first, but it's a necessary part of continuing to progress your character build. Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about unlocking...

Path Of Exile 2: Best Endgame Warrior Build
Image
In terms of raw physical power, the Warrior is the most powerful class in Path of Exile 2 - and they only become more so as the endgame approaches. Unsurprisingly, the Warrior's main stat is Strength, which they use to hammer enemies into submission with powerful blows. They can also inflict stun, and use devastating area of effect attacks to gain control over the battlefield. The trade-off is that Warriors are also one of the slowest Path of Exile 2 classes, requiring the player to plan their attacks ahead so they can ensure they hit at the ideal time.

Like its main inspiration, the Diablo series, Path of Exile 2 is all about experimenting with different character builds, testing out different combinations of skills, gear, and Ascendancies (subclasses) to discover unique ways to play each individual class. While there are many ways to develop your Warrior throughout the game, a series of clear...

Diablo 4’s True Designers Are Not Blizzard but the Community and That Isn’t a Good Thing at All

It’s a known fact that the initial launch of Diablo 4 wasn’t smooth sailing at all. The early updates drove away hordes of players, with Blizzard making quite a number of controversial changes that were not popular.

Diablo 4 is still making waves in the gaming community. (Image via Blizzard Entertainment)

However, Diablo 4 saw record-breaking sales at launch, and the studio has managed to regain all the lost ground with the game’s recent additions and Vessel of Hatred expansion.

However, the fact that it’s the player base that is driving these changes, not Blizzard itself, might prove to be fatal in the long run for the game.

Blizzard is making the wrong choices with Diablo 4’s development

Ever since Diablo 4‘s release, gamers have been extremely vocal about what they want to see in the game and what they want Blizzard to abandon. Considering the number of shenanigans...

Path of Exile 2 Passive Skill Tree Is Complex but It’s Not as Tedious as Diablo 4’s Paragon Boards

Both Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 are top-down dungeon crawlers that require you to battle massive waves of enemies in order to gather treasure and develop your strongest character. Even though each game’s fundamental gameplay may appear to be similar, there are many differences.
