Political thrillers are best served when there is a hint of a larger conspiracy at play; they tend to flourish to their fullest extent when there is enough drama and intensity to keep the audience engaged. Sourav Chakraborty's "Rajneeti" seemed to cover both of these points with ease, creating a riveting political thriller that I'm sure will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

While the series struggles to keep the pacing in check in its early stages, the script's point of elevation came at a time when it was actually required. When the sluggishness wears off, the writing from thereon takes precedence, and the twists and turns begin to function as intended. Particularly in the last episode, where revelation after revelation leaves a strong impression while leaving the door open for a plausible continuation.

The story follows Rashi, a young girl recovering from a coma after a serious car accident. She can't remember her past, but as she gets better, she uncovers the hidden family secrets and the true motives of those close to her. When everything finally becomes clear at the end, it's a satisfying and surprising twist that makes you crave more episodes or another season. The show has some gaps, but the way it's presented is amazing and captures people's hearts. It's well filmed and the music fits perfectly, making every episode engaging and the editing sharp. Let me justify Impactful casting, all characters have lived up to the criteria. Ditipriya, Arjun, Kaushik, koneika acting in lead roles.

Engaging but build up is slow. It looks realistic unlike series used to mix up dozen of things & viewers left to watch imaginary drama only. So, writer has kept it simple adding twist at right angles.

Drama, that's what the genre but a collision of family, politics & some unfolded past events. It's never like " city of dreams" political drama series which is unnecessarily stretched.

Mystery is yet to be unveiled, that may be on next season for sure. That's what made Rajneeti series engaging & thrilling.

Ditipriya Roy your performance in this series was extremely good I'm so glad that I took the time to watch this marvelous series on the first day only because i was very much excited after watching the trailer of Rajneeti. I don't think there's been a single movie close to this series because the story is totally different from the other series.
