Justice League: Warworld is a huge misfire for the tomorrow-verse, wasting an interesting concept on an enjoyable but completely pointless 90 minute adventure that's made worse by some hilariously awful set up for the next crisis in this universe.
Taking away the identities of the League and putting them each in a different environment is a superb idea if they actually chose settings and stories that were linked to who these characters are deep down but these feel so random. Superman's comes closest as it almost tests what truth, justice and the American way really means.
Still, there's some funny be had in seeing Wonder Woman battle Jonah Hex in the Wild West and Batman fight a giant snake. Jensen Ackles, Darren Criss and Stana Katic are all fine here but really aren't given much, no arcs, no chemistry but they sound like their characters.
The animation is good, since all of these use the same style it kinda gets less impressive as they go along but it's by no means bad and still an improvement over the previous one. The pacing isn't good as it goes from an overly long first act into rushed a third act but it's rarely boring.
