Let's take the most interesting character and emasculate him. Jack Ryan is suppose to be an ultra smart bada**. But let's go ahead and put him as Deputy Director for 2 episodes and watch him talk and talk and talk. Then, bring back the useless girlfriend to add salt to the wounds. Remove Ryan from Deputy and give it to Greer??!! Yup, reality check!!!!! Now we have a PC Interim CIA Director, Deputy Director and President!! STUPID!!! Check all of the boxes.
Third episode is like watching grass grow. SOOOO BORING!! The only saving grace is the great Michael Peña. But Betty Gabriel is a terrible actress!! That whole Nigeria thing is a hot mess and to see her stumble scene after scene is cringe worthy.
I want Jack Ryan is doing his thing. Not see Elizabeth Wright in Africa having dinner with a potential lover. We do NOT need to see Greer trying to be a good daddy to prop up a fake PC storyline.
This episode and season is a hot mess.
