Much better than the low rating

It starts as something mildly derivative, but the story has a nice twist which I thought was difficult to guess. You could tell it was in the category as "all is not as it eems".

At the time of writing it had a 5.4 rating, but I've seen films at this rating and I think it deserves much higher.

For me as an English person it would have been more enjoyable as a dubbed film.

There are female characters in the film, but they would have easily been been male, and vice versa.

Good action scenes, though it seemed that some of them were rather too obviously choreographed.

I guess the film has something to say about hidden meaning in the universe, but to me it's not really that kind of film.

I really enjoided this film, we are not use tu see this kind of film here in Argentina, so seeing it in the theathers was a huge surprice. We need more films like this one. The acting is good, the locations are really nice, and the story is was make this great.

The script is really really good, like Nolan vibes, I shows that the director is inspired in Nolan's work, but not only with a lot of respect but with his own touch, and that's of course the most important thing. It has something that is imposible to see in a Hollywood film, is Argentinian, It has Argentinian culture, I that's is somthing new. Argentinian sci fi. We need more of that!

A pleasant cinematic experience

"Control Zeta" is a pleasant cinematic experience, in a genre that Argentine cinema hardly touches: science fiction.

But the philosophical and human background is based on the hero's sacrifice for a loved one at the same time that he reflects on destiny and the impossibility of changing it at will. As reinforcement of the central idea, a chain of events appears, as in the myth of Sisyphus, that leaves the protagonist in the same place and faced with only one possible decision.

I especially highlight the precise photography, which gives character to the story and supports the composition of the characters.

With successful performances, the duo Farisco - Medina maintain a chemistry that the camera captures in every detail.

As is often highlighted in Argentine independent cinema, it is common to "make magic" with limited resources. In "Contro Zeta" it is achieved with precision in the selection of locations, settings and costumes.

I only see two details in which verisimilitude suffers: the harshness of some of the dialogues and the choreography of some action scenes. Both aspects are saved by the rhythm printed in the edition and the very well distributed plot twists.

If you doubt a film that entertains and raises questions in the viewer.
