Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Several kisses in the series.
  • Teen romance, all innocent. Love triangles (x has a crush on y, but y is dating z).

Violence & Gore

  • In "The Battle for Mewni", Toffee has his arm ripped off, only to grow back again. His middle finger is also cut off.
  • In "The Right Way", Quirky helps Star and her friends protect Monster Castle from an invading Solarian Warrior, but he gets impaled by its Solarian Sword and remains incapacitated in "The Tavern at the End of the Multiverse". Quirky's magical wound expands so much across his body that it completely consumes him, causing him to explode into particles of light and perish.
  • Toffee, after being melted, shows exposed bone and leaving a dark green splatter on everything he touches. He is crushed by a pillar soon after.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Although it is never mentioned or referred to, it is implicated in the end of the series that Star (unintentionally) caused a genocide of magical beings by destroying magic.
  • Star gets heartbroken over the thought of never seeing Marco again.
  • Star and Marco cry over the thought of not being able to see each other again.
  • Star's fear of St Olga's and her fear of losing her individuality is VERY understandable and relatable.
  • The Box of Truth can kill people if they lie. This almost happens twice.
  • Victims of racism and discrimination might be afraid of the racism to Monsters in Seasons 3 and 4.
  • Toffee's arm gets blown off by Star's magic from her wand. Toffee's arm is regenerated, and the arm growing back may be unsettling for some younger audiences.
  • Marco almost gets crushed and killed by Toffee's shrinking glass box.
