When thieves break into the house of Agent J. J. LaRoche, he shoots and kills one of them but the other one flees with a Tupperware box that was kept in his safe. J. J. LaRoche asks Jane to recover the box in a short time believing he knows the secret content inside that will be his fall in the CBI. Jane and Lisbon visit the wife of the dead robber, who was a locksmith while Rigsby and Van Pelt research the past of J. J. LaRoche and they learn a secret that might be connected to the box. Meanwhile, Cho finds an old magazine that might indicate the lead suspect inside CBI.
"Red and Itchy" is a great episode of "The Mentalist" with an excellent plot with many mysteries. The content of the Tupperware box disclosed in the end is the best part of the show. Great also to see he gorgeous blue-eyed actress of action and sci-fi films in the 80's Meg Foster; however, as time goes by, she has aged and is difficult to recognize her. My vote is nine.
