The Atlanta Falcons are adding some notable names to its ownership.
The NFL franchise, led by chairman Arthur Blank, says that it will add four new people as limited partners, including a Hollywood insider, and a legendary Olympian.
Among the new limited partners are producer Will Packer, who produced films like Girls Trip, Ride Along, and Think Like a Man, as well as the (infamous, thanks to Will Smith) 2022 Academy Awards broadcast.
The group also includes Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes, former Walgreens and Sam’s Club CEO Rosalind Brewer and venture capitalist Rashaun Williams. The NFL owners approved the new partners at a league meeting in Nashville Tuesday.
“Roz, Dominique, Will and Rashaun are impressive leaders who have made an impact in a variety of enterprises, while also building histories of success making a difference in the world around them and positively impacting people in ways that align very well with our Core Values,...

HBO and Mike White‘s The White Lotus have come under fire from Ukraine after it was announced that Serbian actor and Putin supporter Miloš Biković has been cast in the third season. Biković, who reportedly backed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and was granted Russian citizenship three years ago, was confirmed for the cast earlier this month. In 2018, he was personally honored by Russian President Vladimir Putin with a Pushkin medal, one of the country’s top cultural prizes awarded for advancing Russian culture. Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) posted on social media on Wednesday, January 24, tagging HBO and writing, “Is it all right for you to work with a person who supports genocide & violates international law?” Miloš Biković, Serbian actor who has been supporting Russia since the start of the full-scale invasion, is now set to star in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3@HBO, is...

The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs put out a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) calling out the hiring.

The tweet from Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs read, “Miloš Biković, Serbian actor who has been supporting Russia since the start of the full-scale invasion, is now set to star in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3 @HBO, is it all right for you to work with a person who supports genocide & violates international law?”
After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Biković apparently posted a poll on social media sharing that there was higher trust in Russia’s Vladimir Putin than Ukraine’s leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In 2018, he was given an award by Putin: the Pushkin medal, which is given out to people who help advance the culture of Russia.

This upcoming year could be a huge one for Carlos Alcaraz, with many events up for grabs, but his priorities are set.
The Spaniard is hopeful of a really strong 2024, and after beating Novak Djokovic in the Riyadh Season exhibition recently, he should be quite confident about achieving some big things.
2023 was a pretty good year for him, but the appetite is higher for this upcoming season, with his sights set on a few things. Surprisingly or not, the main goal for the Spaniard won't be winning a Grand Slam trophy but actually the Paris Olympics.
It makes sense because the event comes around every four years, and this is likely the only time in his career that he'll see them played on clay, which is arguably his best surface.
He spoke about his goals recently, admitting that his overall goal is to win gold at the Olympics as well as a Grand Slam,...
