A wwe docuseries I like
cadehager2 April 2024
This documentary series about a couple of WWE training recruits is pretty cool. They were probably future superstars about to fight either in smack down or raw. But they are trying out to be the champion you know? The first episode was kinda confusing when the recruits tell them about there stories. But episode 5 was weird, they tell their catchphrases or something in a session at The Comedy Store, what's laughable about that? Nothing compared to the real heroes of WWE, they are eventually gonna jump into the world of WWE or just be useless. Another thing, strange thing for a Roku original to be in the streaming library, I'll probably just stick to the real WWE on Mondays, but life changes after their tryouts are over, that's a little sad. Anyways 7/10 for this show.

A Thoughtfully Crafted WWE Docuseries

WWE Next Gen felt reminiscent of Last Chance U, but set in the world of WWE. It offered a refreshing departure from WWE's typical content. Unfortunately, not many people know this show exists, and locating it online can be a challenge since Next Gen is exclusively available on Roku. Nevertheless, I'm eager for a second season. The storytelling delves deeper than just the usual narrative of hustle and grit; it evokes genuine empathy for those who miss out on a contract. Keep an eye out for a subtle spoiler on the show's poster, which I won't spoil here. Overall, Next Gen boasts excellent production quality and deserves more recognition in the streaming world.
