A video game where you play as sailor, privateer and assassin Edward Kenway exploring on and around the islands in the Caribbean Sea during the early 17th century.

The 6th installment of the assassin's creed franchise as the pirate/assassin captain kenway (who's son goes on to be the father of Connor from assassin's creed 3). If you're not fighting other pirates, templars or the Spanish at sea aboard the jackdaw your fighting, hunting or infiltrating forts and camps or roaming the drunken towns and streets all over the British empire

The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic where corruption, greediness and cruelty are commonplace. Among these outlaws is a brash young and selfish Welsh captain named Edward Kenway. Kenway joins with Blackbeard and other legends of the sea to become the bane of Templars and the enemy of empires. Meanwhile in the present Desmond Miles, one of the last Assassins, is dead. And the Templars control more than ever. And little does either side know that a chain of events more dangerous than their petty thousand year feud has been set in motion. The importance of the past will shape the future and quite possibly even save the world from the most dangerous adversary of all, Juno the godlike being from an ancient age. The Templars and Assassins will have to forget their quarrel and stand together. But will they be able to let go of the past.
