The Closet Reconfiguration

It doesn't do it consistently enough for my liking, but when 'The Big Bang Theory' gets it right, it really gets it right.

This is a wonderful episode, one of the best from series six, managing to capture a nice balance of heart and humour well.

The episode really makes use of the now expanded cast, giving everyone their own little moment to shine, and it works very well.

It's just a shame for me that this show that has such huge potential can't manage to produce a consistent run of episodes in this style, because there's all the talent in the world in front and behind the camera.

This was very good though.

"The Closet Reconfiguration" is another perfect ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
tavm16 March 2013
In this, the latest ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Howard reorganizes his closet...by throwing everything in there! Bernadette isn't happy about this so Howard suggests Sheldon do it since he's so organized about everything. Bernadette isn't so sure...until Sheldon brings his own food at their dinner party. It's while he's doing this that Sheldon finds an envelope sent by Howard's long-abandoned father for his son's 18th birthday, which Howard has never read. I'll stop there and just say this was another hilarious ep of this very popular show with the usual touching moments of which this was the most touching yet! Everything was just perfect so on that note, "The Closet Reconfiguration" is another great episode of "The Big Bang Theory".

Warning: Spoilers
Howard has always had father problems and this episode is about his reaction to a letter from his father that he never read with Sheldon being the first to read it. Some funny moments happened in the episode but also some really touchy moments as ever character told a variation of the truth to Howard with some of them really being great moments of writing especially for the show which can be mixed from week to week. Jim Parsons as Sheldon was really funny in the episode and lately because his character has become more real lately unlike what he was like in the past. Overall a strong episode for the show really brining more history into it. Both cocktail parties were nice and different for each of the couples.

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Jim Parsons)

Sad and Funny

Howard and Bernie trick Sheldon into organizing their disastrous closet. In the process,, he finds an unopened letter from Howard's father (who deserted the family). Of course, he read it and he has eidetic memory. Howard burns the letter, but the rest of the episode involves an investigation into the contents, using Sheldon as a conduit. Through all this there are numerous really funny lines and bits. The very last scene is terrific with Penny and her goldfish.
