Perilloor premier league offers a great amount of laugh out loud moments. The writer of Kunjiramayanam has penned a fictional village with a set of interesting & quirky characters. The duel between two parties leads to one of their members having to put forward his neice as a panchayat president contestant and things take an interesting turn when she wins the election. The 7 episode series is binge-worthy. The star cast consisting of Sunny Wayne, Nikhila Vimal, Vijayaraghavan, Ashokan, Aju Varghese & others have done their part well. Cinematography is good and captures some breathtaking shots of the beauty of the village sceneries. If you've enjoyed Kunjiramayanam, then this'll definitely work for you.

Mesmerising entertainer with full of fun. This show is first and only one of its kind in Malayalam, I think Malayalam never had a full fun filled comedy series like this before.
From starting to end this is like a fun ride, the entire series is filled with so many wonderful casts they all did there job damn pretty well.
Overall this series is an entertaining show, people can watch it in a single stretch without any boredom. Expecting shows like this more in the Malayalam industry. Sometime we will feel like TV shows like these are better than some movies. Thanks for the makers for giving us a show like this.

Directed by Praveen Chandran starring Nikila Vimla, Sunny Wayne, Vijay Raghavan & Ashokan in the lead role.
Story begins with the love failure of Malavika (played by Nikila Vimal) with Sreekuttan (played by Sunny Wayne) & when she came into her uncle's village "Perilloor "what all turmoil came to her life forms the rest part of the series.
The story although focuses on the village council election, the web series very comically delivered the situation evolving around it. At the same time rather by not focusing only on the political subject, it also travels through the emotional journey of the lead characters making the web series more interesting to watch.
Dilemma who has scored the best in their performance as the casting was aptly done.
Overall, a fun web series.

It is something I can say in all honesty, watch it for the Plot, Gentleman and Lady! You will not be disappointed you get something delivered every five minutes roughly.
The pacing never slows until the last minute of the last episode.
None of the dialogue is slapstick! That is a rarity and an achievement if you are serious about comedy.
None of the characters I tell you! None of them do something stupid ( I mean unless they are stupid but that is staying in character )
You will see a bit of yourself in atleast one of the characters. I guarantee you laughs.
My only regret is if I cannot recommend this enough.
The real question we should be asking ourselves is... When is the next season? Ente Perilloor Ammé!

Perilloor Premier League made me want more. The 7 episodes felt like a breath of fresh air of quirky comedy that was missing in the Malayalam films released in 2023. The characters that the series carved out are why it works even though the plot points seem tried-and-tested. I laughed out loud quite a few times watching these characters, played so marvellously by the large spectrum of talented artists. I loved Sunny Wayne's performance, his character, and his theme, all of which came out like the perfect air of a skirt-chaser. Asokan, Nikhila Vimal, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, and almost everyone else put up a very natural, fun show here. Save for a few jokes that went overboard or felt overlong, the series is never dull. It's clear to me that the makers had a lot of fun filming Perilloor Premier League the same way I enjoyed watching it.

The storyline is a basic one but the direction and the way it is presented is very nice , there are many points were we can laugh a lot. I felt the series was worth the time .

Perilloor Premier League what a wonderful series, I have just binge-watched this awesome series and I am so happy. It was the most hilarious comedy I have ever seen. The actors were amazing and funny. They cracked me up and made me feel great. It was the ideal way to relax and forget about the problems of everyday life. If you are looking for a cheerful and positive show, don't hesitate, just watch it. You will love it. Believe me, this series will brighten your mood. I can't wait for next season. I just finished watching this amazing series and I can't stop smiling. It was the best humor comedy I've ever seen. The actors were brilliant and hilarious. This is a one of the Iconic Malayalam Web series with lots of film actors with an outstanding Comedy and funny moments throughout the screenplay
Romance, Comedy, cinematography, acting, screenplay has well executed and all credits to director brilliance.
It's one of the Top comedy series in South Indian web series and best of Nikhila Vimal after her recent jo&jo. I have to give credits to Art crew and story writer for bringing such a nice script.
Each and every moments captured without comprising the quality. Even though a smal character played by Thief or Kalyaniyamma also showing a great skills in acting make this Series wonderful.
Almost 20+ film actors are there and 50 artist are there .. I will say that all those screenspace given characters has contributed well to this one..

A hollow attempt to recreate an 80's village based story

This story significantly misses the mark, presenting a disjointed narrative with a glaring lack of depth and originality. Pre declaring that the characters are all idiots, is a cheap trick to cover up the lack of creativity in writing humour.
Characters and events feel unrealistic and unengaging, burdened by clichéd attempts to attract viewers through outdated movie elements and insensible humor. The direction lacks vision and insight, with a clear overestimation of skills and an underestimation of the audience's intelligence.
Casting appears careless, and there's little to no evidence of professional growth in storytelling or technique. Actors fail to convincingly inhabit their roles, delivering performances that lean towards overacting rather than authenticity.
The musical score is forgettable, contributing little to the atmosphere or emotional landscape of the story. Technical aspects like camera work and editing are mediocre at best, failing to respect the audience's time with their lack of precision and slow pacing.
Overall, the production offers no valuable societal message, indulges in problematic humor, and lacks any form of grace or rewatchability. The only minor plus is the story's locations, which are overshadowed by the overwhelming negatives, including a reliance on local flavor that does little to mask the story's fundamental deficiencies.
I feel sorry for those who award perfect scores to such subpar efforts. My scoring rubric is given below for reference.
1 - Dismal, Unwatchable, Tedious - fails in nearly every aspect, offering no redeeming qualities.

This series is different from other series. It's a new concept most of all this series keep engaging. There are lot of the characters each character have unique characters . And the quality of the filmmaking is very fantastic. And every character play their role perfectly. And the comedy has been perfectly worked out. Best wishes to actors and filmmakers and a director to deliver a different kind of series to the pepole we should appreciate their works. Overall the series is very good . In my opinion if you could add more comedy scenes it would been even better thank you all to read my comments.

I'm not really a fan of series, but this one changed my mind. Beautifully crafted characters and choreography, I laughed to death in some of the scenes, but on the heroine side, I feels like something is missing in the character, like the character completed not fitted in her, but she also acted well too.
Each episode kept its quality and it became more and more interesting and hilarious till the end. And the quality is totally was watching like movie.
I watched all the series in one sit and it was really amazing, thanks for the team, wishing good luck and hope more like this.

Amazing work... All the best to entire crew. Utterly engrossing series featuring a ton of sitcoms that make people laugh of all ages laugh. The dream village's title captivates viewers on its own. Each character performs to the best of their abilities. The character selection, the non-heroine-centric plot, and the engaging scripting are just a few of the many qualities that make this series perfect for the Malayalam business.
The majority of the personalities are relatable to us as friends or family, which makes them more interesting to watch.

The series does not hinge on one single thing - love/romance, elections or anything. The title is apt - its Perilloor village all the way!
The story is so well written - you might think it could be from a novel. KP PoornaChandra Tejaswi's works are similar.
Aside from the storyline, fun, the cinematography is beautiful. I just love the place.
For some reason, peetambaran was my favourite character. Watch to find out yours :)

Can laugh a lot throughout the film

It is a webseries with seven episodes and the main casts are Sunny Wayne, Vijayaraghavan, Ashokan and Nikhila Vimal. It is totally a fun film and you will get many moments to sit and laugh.
The plot of the movie is very simple and easy to understand. If you like movies Kunjiramayanam, Vellimoonga, etc you will like this too. Vijayaraghavan as a fake politician, Ashokan as an opposition leader, Nikhila as the Panchayat President, did their job nicely. However as per my personal opinion Nikhila is not upto the mark for performing comedy roles.
The Thiruvanam Babu is a another laughing elements😂. The story of some innocent people in a village is clearly portrayed in the screen very efficiently and neatly.
Cameraman did a good job, Director and music is also nice. I am sure the production will not cost more as it is a simple set.
