WARNING THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS

Whilst the premise of the film is good and I like the play on the name but I wasn't blown away nor get a strong gust from this.

From the outset it was clear that Mrs Tubbs was in on it so wasn't a surprise when the alleged plot twist occurred. In addition some of the acting wasn't that very good especially from Joel, his emotions were pretty poor.

I also can't understand why the original mother one minute has boils on her face when off her medication, I can understand acting out of character, but then the next she's a normal woman glowing days later.

OK it's maybe worth a watch but personally I find plenty to pick holes at.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a well-crafted and suspenseful film with a set of finely-tuned performances.

Appearances can be deceiving in the apparent domesticity of the loving Chessman family. Little Danny was kidnapped as an infant. Now, his parents have become over-protective, especially his worry-wart mother Melody.

Young DeLondra Caprez is a medical student who accepts a job as the nanny of little Danny. But it turns out that DeLondra had a much more ambitious and dangerous job as she gets to know the Chessmans. Melody's husband Joel was a fascinating character with a conscience, and Caleb Jantz was instrumental in warning DeLondra about her delicate situation.

The strength of the film was in the eerie credibility evoked about a disturbing family environment. The actress playing Melody was successful in pivoting from a hyper-sensitive mom into a cold-blooded killer. She was only outdone by the transformation of the mild-mannered and unassuming Mrs. Tubbs.

The film lost some of its credibility with the strange characters of Babs Bennett and her old man Ken, who sold out DeLondra and little Danny. But, overall, the film will appeal to thrill-seekers in a wild, emotional roller coaster ride.
