When the second male lead is 10 times stronger than the male lead.....
hanalisss19 September 2023
Romantic K-drama that brings viewers into a world of love, deceit, and the complexities of human relationships. While the series has its strengths, it's important to acknowledge that there's room for improvement, particularly in the portrayal of the male lead, Hwan Min Hyun. However, amidst these challenges, Seo Ji Hoon shines brilliantly as the second male lead, stealing the spotlight with his exceptional acting and emotional depth.

Hwan Min Hyun, cast as the male lead, unfortunately, falls short of expectations. His acting, while possessing some charm, is found lacking in depth. One noticeable aspect is the limited range of facial expressions he brings to his character. This lack of emotional diversity makes it difficult for viewers to fully connect with his portrayal. In a romantic drama, it's crucial for the male lead to convey a wide spectrum of emotions to establish a strong connection with the audience. In this regard, Min Hyun's performance leaves much to be desired.

In stark contrast, Seo Ji Hoon's portrayal of the second male lead is nothing short of remarkable. Ji Hoon infuses his character with extraordinary depth and authenticity. He masterfully navigates the emotional complexities of his character's tragic backstory, bringing every nuance of sadness, joy, and pain to life. Ji Hoon's immersive performance draws viewers into his character's world, making it impossible not to empathize with his struggles and triumphs.

The love triangle, a common trope in K-dramas, takes on a different dimension in Useless Lies. While some dramas may fall into the trap of predictability, this series manages to breathe new life into the trope. It's true that from the outset, it's evident that the second male lead won't have a chance with the female lead. However, Seo Ji Hoon's compelling performance adds depth to the storyline. His character's endearing yet heartbreaking journey serves to tug at the heartstrings of the audience in a way that feels genuine and emotionally resonant. While the outcome may be expected, the emotional journey of the characters keeps viewers invested and emotionally engaged.

The story is its own unique strength. In a landscape of K-dramas that often rely on familiar plotlines and clichés, this drama stands out with its originality. The central narrative revolves around complex characters and the web of deceit that surrounds them. While the story maintains its originality, it's worth noting that, as with many dramas, it becomes somewhat predictable as it unfolds. To elevate the series further, introducing more unexpected twists and turns in the later episodes could have maintained the intrigue and kept viewers on their toes.

The chemistry between the main couple is a vital factor in any romantic drama's success, and the drama doesn't disappoint much. The interactions between the female lead and the male lead, despite the challenges posed by Min Hyun's acting, carry a certain charm. Their moments of vulnerability and connection are touching, making it easy for viewers to root for their relationship. While Min Hyun's facial expressions may lack diversity, the chemistry between the leads helps compensate for this, drawing viewers into their emotional journey.

The drama commences on a strong note with comedy scenes that infuse humor and levity into the story. These early moments of humor effectively hook viewers with a smile. However, it's worth noting that as the story progresses, the comedic elements become less prominent. A sustained dose of humor throughout the series, especially in the later episodes, could have enriched the overall viewing experience and provided moments of light-heartedness amidst the emotional intensity.

In conclusion this is filled with heart and potential. While it may have its shortcomings, particularly in the portrayal of the male lead, it remains a compelling series that offers a fresh and original storyline. Seo Ji Hoon's exceptional acting elevates the drama, and the love triangle, though seemingly predictable, is made more poignant by his performance. With a commitment to refining its comedic elements and introducing unexpected plot twists, could have been even more exceptional. Nonetheless, it remains an entertaining and emotionally resonant drama that captures the complexities of love and deceit in a unique way, making it worth the watch.

Good start, promising, not quite fulfilling - but excellent second male lead
samvit-8925215 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This is a sweet and charming movie but probably targeted at a younger generation. All the protagonists are basically good at heart. What I liked about it was that the show is not twisted around plots and family lines and cliches like most kdramas, instead showing us more of the complexity of human relationships and lies. I also liked there was no hiding of important bits of information between the leads complicating their relationship. The first half of the show is intriguing and has a lot of humorous elements making you smile, but get lesser as the show evolves. Unlike other dramas the writers didn't squeeze the resolution into one episode but let it evolve more naturally, but more twists and turns would have made it more interesting, as it turned flat once the leads were together.

I mainly watched this show because of Hwan Min Hyun, as I really liked him in AOS. While he is still charming I missed a wider range of facial expressions (got better towards the end) and more depth, making it difficult to connect to his character. In contrast Seo Ji Hoon's acting is very nuanced, I could easily empathise with all his struggles and joys, making me very open hearted towards him and wish he could be back in relationship with the FL, even though it was clear this wouldn't happen. Seo Ji Hoon in this regard stole the spotlight of the main male lead with his charismatic performance and chemistry.

I adored Ahn Nae Sang, the FL father, convincingly living in nature outside social expectations, with long hair, making him really attractive both in looks and character.

However, several things made the show fall short. The sounds of lies vs truth were not consistent. The characters being at least in their late twenties or early thirties sometimes lack maturity. If you grow up with the ability to detect lies you would naturally develop the knowledge to distinguish white and black lies early on. This development happening only after the main leads meet is not credible and should have been developed earlier.

The chemistry.... although the main leads look good together no scene made my heart flutter, unfortunately. I can't really pinpoint the cause, is it the acting or the role, as Min Hyun stole my heart in AOS right from the beginning even with his stoic role.

The mother of the FL having money first on her priority list desperately trying to find a rich man to marry even without love, having a sudden change of mind and going to live in the woods with her ex husband is far from believable. If ever, there should have been a deeper character development in her for this change in values to happen and to regain the trust of her ex husband. Such a twist could have made the second half of the story more compelling.

Cliches: I really really would love to see a romance starting without FL getting drunk and passing out. This way of getting physically closer is pretty worn out but is repeated here again as well as the panicked hiding of the lover when parents show up. Writers please... adjust behaviour to age/maturity! Please!

To sum things up, this is a lovely romcom full of possibilities but with many shortcomings, a good start, a flattened storyline, an extremely good second male lead, a lighthearted watch, a fresh approach to love and deceit. With more development of Min Hyun's and the mother's characters, more comedic elements in the second half it could have been way better.

If I say so, then it is

Hwang Min-hyun plays a successful song writer but in the past he was linked with his girlfriends disappearance but his mother bribed a policeman to cover up his involvement. Kim So-hyun plays Mok Sol-hee who has the ability to detect people lying and runs a successful business from a tarot cafe. They had a brief meeting shortly after his ex girlfriends disappearance but meet years later and even though she does not remember, he does and is drawn to her. Over the series we see their relationship develop and with her help he seeks the truth about the event that he is convinced he is responsible for. It is an enjoyable series with great acting from the entire cast and and I really enjoyed the earlier episodes, sadly it seemed to run out of steam at the end.

Sweet romance
alternate_15 August 2023
When I started watching this one after a recent deluge of rom-coms on OTT, I underestimated its simple plot-line about a woman able to tell liars. After following the initial 6 episodes I can't wait to watch how the drama unfolds and how the leads handle different situations pertaining their not-so-common lives (read: lies).

The story complicates with simple twists and unforeseen but predictable circumstances, presented in a charming and feel-good format. The scenes are as beautiful as the leads. This one is like an icing on top of all the rom-coms released this year, with believable and real characters, charming take on a love story about second chances. To keep the plot running, a hidden backdrop runs throughout, creating sufficient tension between all the characters.

The story actively deals with a few of the current concerns like that of mental health problems: why not to take them lightly, plagiarism in the music industry: how the more-established people exploit, underpay and mistreat ghost-writers and non-famous talented people.

It's a great blend of a sweet second-chance romance, good plot, mystery, and some good acting.

The drama is just good
banninamdc17 August 2023
When I started the drama I literally have no expectations but this is too good to describe. The fast storytelling. The lead actor suspense. Beside the ex-lover's sad come back.coz I thought to go with my ex but after seeing his situation I willnot go to my ex. Really the drama's 6 episode made me fall in love...Besides the Ost Run-Woody was very good specially the 1st part of the song is very good...But somewhere how kim so hyun behaviour towards her ex that's broke my heart. But still the lead couple gives me butterflies, chemistry is just🔥. Hope the drama will be a great hit in korea&worldly.

A miss for me I wanted to like it but couldn't
leahcubed2 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
7/10 is my rating. This is a 2023 supernatural romance drama with 16, 60 minute episodes.

First I provide a unique synopsis then review.

Mok Sol-jee (Kim So-hyun) hears people lying everywhere she goes. Born with a special way of depicting a lie, she has learned not to trust most people. Her mistrust of most people was reinforced when her fiancé, Lee Kang-min (Seo Ji-hoon), broke off their relationship with little rationale. She is immediately attracted to Kim Do-ha / Kim Seung-joo (Hwang Min-hyun) as he is one of the few people she encounters whi isn't telling lies frequently. He is handsome and talented but extremely reclusive as he hides behind a alternate name as a suspect in his former girlfriend's death. Sha On/Sa Ji (Lee Si-woo) fell in love with Kim Do-ha who believed in her and helped her rise in stardom by providing the music behind her successful career.

Review I really wanted to like this more than I did. It had all the elements an interesting premise, cute romance, great leads, but despite all that I found myself slow walking through it. I even debated not watching but I was so far in at that point I just continued on. The mystery was about the best part of it and there was a surprise twist to that. I am picky because I have seen hundreds of series and this was not on par with any of the really good ones.

Spoilers

The chemistry between the leads was off. He was passionate enough in the kiss scenes but she seemed very stiff and unnatural. I am not a fan of long moments of just gazing into each other's eyes but there was so little of that in this one it made their relationship seem equivalent to good friends.

The sound it made when there was a lie was confusing because they also made a sound when there was a dramatic statement. There was a lot of potential with that ability but the cases it showed were not that interesting.

I had zero interest to the point of annoyance with the side couples. Her mom and dad reuniting was not believable to me as her dad lived like a homeless person and her mom craved luxury. Plus she was such a con woman and never changed. I felt sorry for the dad and thought he should stay far away from his toxic ex.

I never had sympathy for 2nd guy. He elected not to tell here about having cancer then thought he could just get her back when he was ready. So I was never rooting for him.

The plot was chaotic in that they lacked good flow between the mystery, supernatural elements and romance. It would be focused on that romance then abruptly switch to the mystery. It just felt very disorganized and it dragged at some points.

#Kim So-hyun #Hwang Min-hyun #Seo Ji-hoon #Lee Si-woo.

A fresh take on KDrama rom com!
yourkdramarama29 September 2023
I understand that people may have two different camps in seeing how Min Hyun's acting on screen but I strongly, i repeat, I STRONGLY, believe he delivers of what Do Ha/ Seung Ju is supposed to be as a character. His awkwardness but direct personality shines through his acting. He perfectly portrays how years of distrust actually shaped him as a person and that is why trust is really the currency that he responded to. So Min Hyun, if you ever come across to this comment section, believe us that YOU DID WELL!

The plot twist from Deuk Chan's motive is not really the best shot, it would be more intriguing if the pas GF was really killed herself and everyone was just doubtful of Seung Ju because of the circumstances and easily dismissed all of his background an track records. It is a hard situation and therefore really intriguing to explore.

But setting aside the above, kudos to the production team who breaks all the KDrama rom com trope that I did not like: Miscommunication between the leads!!

Kdrama romcom usually spends a lot of time just to make us frustrated of why the leads does not have an open and honest conversation and deals with it cool headed. They like to throw the typical trope - I love you so it's better for you to stay away from me, kind of thing which is so 2010 man.

Here they spent less than 2 episode of some quick truth checking and our main leads back on track without any presumption and annoying will they wont they thing which can easily drag the drama. That's how big trust and open communication are placed in the front and center theme of this drama.

Few more details that I love as decades long of a Kdrama fan here: They did not make the ML good at cooking! 😂 well he did his best but the thoughts and effort that counts! Not everyone has to be perfect! And the FL is so confident and far from a damsel in distress type of girl which I love.

I do figure some gaps in writing and my guess is bcs they added some details on the spot. It may be unpopular opinion, but I ADORE THAT APPROACH. It is so refreshing and that is what makes this drama extra special! How often you see the NG scenes are actually included in the final cuts, the casts and the director must have the same braincells that their humor works.

So again overall if you are looking for an easy breezy romcoms that will give you butterflies - and not the kind of I am a rich heir and therefore I am here with all my staff to save you kind of thing - go watch this! They really have the GREENEST relationship in a KDrama land where you both know you need each other and you placed trust and communication as bridge to keep the relationship healthy.

They promise us a romantic comedy with a dash of mistery, and sure thing they delivered it!

romcom
zizuziza-7934929 December 2023
Drama had great potential but they didn't execute well. The main storyline was great but the supporting character's storyline was just there to occupy time for the episode. It felt like lazy writing to me. If they made the other character's plotline more relatable, it must've made the series more of a masterpiece than it already is. Other than that drama felt dragging after ep 7, if the episodes were cut down to 12 rather than 16 then really I'd be more satisfied. Regardless, the drama explores the point that the main characters had serious relationships before they met each other. It didn't hesitate to deliver the message that loving someone doesn't have to be your childhood crush or your first love. You can fall in love again, maybe with the right person. Also giving the message of communication is the key, don't assume things of your own both leads did that and faced big consequences. In the end, lying isn't a good thing but rather than just looking for honesty or truth, you should understand other people's perspective, which was my biggest takeaway from this show.

"If I say so, then it is."
hannahingrammoore26 August 2023
As I reach the midway point of the drama, I can't help but find it absolutely ridiculous, but in the best way possible. It adeptly captures the essence of the genres it aims to portray, particularly excelling in the realms of romantic comedy and fantasy. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and their romantic moments are nothing short of heart-fluttering.

The drama fits seamlessly within the genres of Romantic Comedy, Fantasy, and Drama. The very first scene sets the tone as we're introduced to three men on the brink of being thrown off a building, they work for a gang and the boss suspects one of them has betrayed him. This tense situation takes an unexpected turn when Sol-hee, the "liar hunter," arrives on the scene. The writing brilliantly infuses humor even into these intense moments.

The initial meeting between the main leads further illustrates the drama's penchant for blending seriousness with humor. The female protagonist comes to the rescue as she intervenes in a scenario where the male lead is being attacked by his ex-girlfriend's brother on a bus. The juxtaposition of the serious situation and the writer's comedic touch makes for an amusing scene.

While some critics might nitpick about how characters bump into each other numerous times in quick succession, with each meeting proving more unlikely than the last, this drama is more rooted in fantasy and comedy, with moments of gravity interspersed. The story line offers numerous scenes that are utterly re watchable, packed with humor and charm.

To critics, I'd suggest embracing the drama for what it is rather than focusing on what it isn't trying to be. Beyond the romance, the story provides a fresh experience by highlighting Mok Sol Hee, a character with a unique ability. Flaws are present in most dramas, no matter how realistic the story is. But this drama isn't about intricate plot twists. Instead, it offers a straightforward yet engaging narrative that keeps viewers intrigued by Kim Do Ha's mysterious secret. The drama captures curiosity without relying on elaborate twists.

The drama's message is profound. Even though Mok Sol Hee appears to lead an uncomplicated life due to her special ability, true love has the power to challenge even extraordinary skills. Our obsession with truth and lies often hides the intentions of those who deceive. The core of the story is the growth of love through understanding and trust, even when emotions are hidden.

Up to this point, the drama has certainly delivered as a genuinely engaging experience. However, I reserve my judgment about whether it will achieve the status of a "great" drama until I see how the second half of the story unfolds, particularly in terms of the development between the two main leads.

A more comprehensive review will follow once I've completed the drama. Nonetheless, my current perspective remains positive. As I'm halfway through, I've even found myself re-watching episodes and relishing the memorable scenes that never seem to lose their appeal.

Good Enough
PennyReviews18 October 2023
Korean Drama " My Lovely Liar " is a fantasy romance about a girl who can detect lies and a man who is done lying.

The drama starts off strongly, with the main couple getting to know each other and a love story slowly brewing, with enough adorable moments to support the light atmosphere. The mystery of the male lead's past was another factor that kept things interesting for a while, confusing the viewer as to what was his true intentions.

However, towards the ending, things started getting messy. Sure, the romance was cute and the couple had chemistry, even though the love triangle was underdeveloped and unnecessary, but the mystery wasn't handled nicely and it got chaotic. The use of many cliche tropes as well as boring twists didn't aid at all to make things better. The final episode, in addition, felt like a filler rather than an actual conclusion.

Finally, the performances were enjoyable by everyone in the cast, and the fantasy element was managed nicely.

So, overall, six out of ten.

A Review on My Lovely Liar
euginebarros4 September 2023
I don't know why NETFLIX didn't include this show but this is another one of a kind series. It gives life lessons and the writer made sure to really blend the light and heavy moments.

It is well written, it captures my attention and also it touches my heart.

The chemistry of Hwang Min Yun and Kim So Hyun is superb. I hope that they will be given more projects together.

I like how the director and the production team made this piece come altogether. I hope this could be watched anywhere. Cause it is really a must watch.

Finally, the OST also is great, I love how it compliments each scene specially the scenes of Do Ha and Sol He together. I just love them.

Above average, but not great!
priyashashank798 October 2023
Good story, average acting, some annoying and skippable portions, overall an above average show. I liked Hwan Min Hyun a lot in Alchemy of Souls and really wanted to see him as the ML in a series. I also like Kim So Hyun and wanted to see more of her. The reason I deducted two stars is that the romance was missing between the lead couple. They looked cute together at best, but I found the chemistry lacking somehow. The FL had better chemistry with her ex-boyfriend. I am all for good kissing scenes, but I was thankful there weren't many here, because the ones that were, looked half-hearted somehow. We all know the actors are acting in the kissing scenes, but real professionalism lies in making us believe they are not. All supporting actors did a good job, and in all it was an interesting story, I didn't skip many parts, though I would admit I did skip a few in each episode, especially the ones with the FL's mother.

Disappointing
murun-me19 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Did not meet my expectation and definitely do not deserve all the hype. Awkward acting from most of the cast including the main two but, the child actor, Seo Jihoon, and Yun Ji On did great. The rest of the acting was over the top and the only queer character as the "villain" was just too overused and just plain and simple lazy writing (give him green hair and a scar over the eye why don't you?). It started out interesting and kept me hooked but then midway through it just got too hard to ignore all the characters and the stereotypical characteristics plus all the cringey acting and plot holes. I will finish watching but it was not worth all the time and energy spent.

A Perfect Drama to Watch Before You Die
shreyasisanyal21 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It is a daebak drama. Every chracter in it is so pretty especially hwang min. The story is perfect in every respect and it is very well played from syart to finish with perfect drama, trauma, love and happiness. It is a perfect and must watch story if you want to see a sad to happy progression. The romance between do ha and sol hee is awesome. I especially hate the date hase after they become a couple because it feels very cringe to me but for this drama even though they did not break up even once and became a couple quite early it did not feel cringe for a moment and their kisses would make you flutter. Also due to action and crime scenes along with entertainment industry and songwriter stuff. So this is a must watch kdrama that you must watch before you die and every second of it will keep you on the edge of the seat.

The chemistry between Male Lead and Female Lead very good
adityawsg22 September 2023
This drama has got to be one of the best encounter i had in 2023. I watch this with zero expectations, i just give it a go because the teaser looks interesting, Hwang Min Hyun and Kim So Hyun seems like a great pairing.

I personally don't have any complains regarding how the story & the characters were written. Every plot points & even the subplots were wrapped up neatly. None of them were wasted or put unnecessarily.

The balance between romance, comedic & the thriller elements were perfect & not overboard or scattered.

My Lovely Liar also dive & explore around heavy yet interesting theme such as toxic relationship, abusive family environment, sexuality, loneliness, grief, regret, guilt, mental health situation, trauma. They didn't tiptoe around these topics, but rather present it well.

The chemistry between Male Lead and Female Lead very good in this drama. They present to us one of the greenest, most healthiest relationship between the male & female lead character in K-Drama land & not make the female lead as a damsel in distress.

Hwang Min Hyun and Kim So Hyun was a pairing that i didn't expect i would fall deeply in love this year & yet their chemistry on & off screen is one of the most wonderful i have ever seen. Endearing & magical. They were more than phenomenal in my eyes.

All the casts were perfectly casted for this drama. From the leads even to the extra & cameo, they were just as great. I can't imagine My Lovely Liar without all of the casts especially Hwang Min Hyun and Kim So Hyun. Their performance were spectacular to me.

My lovely Liar is A hidden gem that become my source of happiness, 100% recommended to all!

Fluffy romcom with some good twists
meemsyd13 November 2023
Nothing amazing or unique about this romcom, but it's an enjoyable light watch with some crime elements and intrigue.

The show focuses on a woman with a superpower of being able to detect lies, which she makes a good living out of, but has affected her trust in the people in her life and she's isolated. She meets a man who is accused of a crime and similarly isolated, and hijinks ensue. It's a simple but interesting premise.

The main leads are likeable and both have well developed backstories. The show does a good job developing the plot at a decent pace, with some well written twists and turns. Everything comes full circle by the end, and whilst not a super deep emotional show, it does have some interesting concepts about lying, when and why people choose to do it and the particular effects it has on how the main character perceives the world and her relationships. The romance is cute and wholesome, and doesn't rely on tropes - the communication of all the characters is refreshingly honest which suits the theme.

Would recommend for a light watch, just enough problem solving and mystery to keep you interested, and pretty cute and fluffy as a romcom should be.

A healing and comfort drama
adeliamr22 September 2023
This drama offers you everything you need.

Romance, thriller, mystery, comedy, and more.

The chemistry between Male Lead and Female Lead very good. They present the importance of communication, trust, being honest, showing sincerity, protect, making an effort, help and understand each other.

Hwang Min Hyun and Kim So Hyun seems like a great pairing. Their chemistry on and off screen is one of the most wonderful i have ever seen.

The balance between romance, comedic and the mystery were perfect. They able to create a thrilling atmosphere when it's a dark and tense scene, magical, and sweet for the others.

Thank you so much to the casts and the team of My Lovely Liar for your hard work.

one of the best healthy relationships in drama
rizmabaweanm11 December 2023
I like this drama because it has many elements such as romcom, mystery, fantasy, kpop and there are no plot holes in this drama. Even though the story is slow, I still like seeing the healthy relationship of the main couple like there is no misunderstanding between them, they support each other, never break up, I hope more dramas have relationships like this.

I also like Hwang Minhyun's acting here, he plays Kim Doha very well, who at first was a sociable and cheerful person, but after his girlfriend died, he became traumatized and didn't get along with people easily. Until finally he met Solhee who changed his life for the better, and he returned to being the Doha he used to be.

Overrated
darkogeno6 September 2023
Another Kdrama grossly overrated on this site. As I write this, it is 8.6/10 with over 1000 people accumulated. Like really??! Male lead actor looks like Cha Eun Woo's 2nd cousin and the girlies fall like a puddle on the floor. I don't get it!

No one notices how sub-par the writing is? No one notice how confusing and similar the fl lie/truth bells are? No one noticed all the chance meetings that take place to a ridiculous degree? Leads end up in the same apartment building (apartment b. Is huge with an elevator for several floors, but ml moves right next door to fl. What are the odds? Plus their balconies happen to be side by side). Fl wishes to see ml and magically he happens to be walking right in front of her store. Ml gets out of car at the exact moment fl is leaving apartment building. Fl happens to stop by at a jazz club ml regularly plays the piano at and of course this is the night he's there. No one in a city would run into each other like this. Heck they wouldn't even run into each other like this in a small village. Leads have been in Seoul for 5 years and managed just fine to never cross paths. But suddenly to drive the plot forward in this story they by chance come across each other daily?? Wtf? Also, the cliche Kdramas refuse to let go of where ml and fl know each other in the past is beyond over the hill. This is just lazy writing plain and simple. You have to turn your brain off with a lot of these shows I swear...I mean you know it's bad when you got the female lead legit hopping like a bunny in front of the male lead.

For teen fans only
jaldred-6612019 September 2023
Just because IU can act does not mean every pop star can act. It seems that more and more shows are casting pop stars which is usually not good news. This is another vehicle which has what could have been quite a good mystery element in but the rest is not well developed. A man wrongly accused of murder is unable to clear his name. Finding out who did commit the murder could have been told in about 6 episodes. The rest is sooo slow a lot of not much happening and a romance that was so tame: that was when I realised it was really made for teen fans who would be happy just to look at the male lead's face on screen. The acting left a lot of room for improvement as well so unless you area fan, I would give this one a miss.

A filler drama, nothing exciting
carollinho-7397729 August 2023
I tried hard to watch this drama because the storyline seems interesting. But the male lead's bad acting is a distraction, it makes me want to skip all his scenes but I cannot because he's part of the plot. His empty eyes and stiff expressions make him look more like a psychopath than someone who had a painful past or someone who's in love. The female lead is basically carrying the entire drama. Her extra effort, however, goes to waste because there's no rebound of emotions from the other. Since the drama focuses a lot on the male lead, they need a strong actor to carry the role. The chemistry between the 2 leads are also very forced. There's no heart fluttering moments. They are like friends hanging out. I will use this as filler drama when I have nothing better to watch.
