Amar and Prem, along with their families, gather in Punjab for their wedding, which is disrupted by cultural differences and a jealous woman.

Amar discovers about his sexuality early on and he grows up in Punjab feeling suffocated as he is unable to start his love story while others boys of his age are going through breakups. Being only son and "the only brother" of seven sisters and two cousins (brothers) he gets what he wants. So Amar decides to go to London to spend sometime with his Mamaji there. Little did he expect that he would meet his dream man, Prem, on his flight to London and would fall in love with him at the first sight. They meet again coincidently and Amar discovers that this dashing, handsome man Prem, is in love with him too. Amar decides to stay back in London under the pretext to continue his study there. He gets that permission from his Daarji. But, after sometime, when Amar Prem have started living together like a couple and are falling madly in love with each other, with each passing day, Amar is called back home. Daarji had a heart attack. Prem fears something fishy and he wants to go along with Amar, but, given the situation, Amar decides to go alone. Prem's fear comes alive as Amar and his Mamaji are almost kidnapped as they land at Amritsar airport by Amar's family, their phones are taken away and Amar is taken to this decked up house, where Daarji is dancing and soon Amar discovers it's his wedding, which everyone is celebrating, he just has to finalize the girl... In order to reach Prem, Amar takes help of his childhood friend Mandy, who is madly, passionately and "hopefully" is in love with Amar. Amar and Mandy are caught together in the middle of the night and everyone misunderstands the situation and their wedding is fixed. Unable to reach Amar for two days, Prem lands at his door step. The two lovers meet, embrace each other and forget about the world around them and they kiss. Entire house is shaken and Amar's Daarji goes into Comma... Amar's Biji declares that she would host Amar and Prem's wedding and decides that it would happen as per their previous plan of Amar's wedding... Mandy, who wants Amar since she was 14 takes it on her ego to not let this wedding happen... Her task seems easy as Biji discovers Prem is Bengali and when his Bengali relatives land in Punjab for the wedding the cracks begin of appear in Amar and Prem's relationship. Mandy decides to take advantage of these cracks and create a rift between two eternal lovers. Would their love survive Mandy?
