Penelope goes into a café correctly signed as "Le Petit Cafe" outside, but the sign inside says "La Petit Cafe", which is incorrect.
As the unsub is reading a binder labeled "Laurel's Open Window," a scene is shown of an unsub breaking into Laurel Tyson's house through a window. Reid and Morgan mention the window as the source of entry, but the same window from before is not shown. This is because the window break-in scene is reused from The Stranger (2011), when that unsub breaks into Amber Lasko's apartment by using the window.
The poster on the wall of the Saint Paul Police Department labeled "Saint Paul Police" actually contains a stylized rendering of the Minneapolis skyline, its neighbor to the west.
The town the unsub is from is actually around 130 miles from St. Paul, not a suburb of the city.
It is a common misconception that soy phytoestrogens mimic human estrogen in the body and causes men to grow breasts, myths that have been scientifically disproved many times.
Once Morgan is able to save Tammy from the swimming pool, he pulls her off to the side in order to perform C.P.R. Both he and the SWAT member fail to move her onto her side when she begins to spit up water (common practice to ensure she does not choke on the water).
