"You're teaching Rani that if she's got a problem, she can act out and get away with it?"
skteosk9 March 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Deeply unsatisfying. The absence of Rani is annoying, with the adults seemingly getting together to let her off the hook for her bad behaviour. Are we meant to think that Priya going cap in hand to Paul is the right thing to do?Are we really meant to be on Paul's side as he intimidates the police and either threatens or pays off Rani's other victim? For a second, it looks like this might be addressed with Ajay's angry reaction to Priya but again there's no follow through and Priya somehow manages to make it all about her.And then we have Ajay walking off with some random woman for no apparent reason. If he's trying to prove a point to Paul, then the only point is "You've won."

Similarly, it seems for a moment that Lou's going to give Sheila a well-deserved dressing down for her spiteful behaviour but again the matter's left unresolved and it just seems to be setting Lou up for a wall with the realisation his family are keeping secrets from him.

And then there's Andrew and Tasha's storyline. It's a good idea badly done:Tasha's motivation is sort of clear but it's hard to see what she's hoping to achieve by not talking to Andrew, Andrew's way of trying to make things up to her is kind of insulting and Tasha's eventual solution seems to be tackling the symptoms rather than the cause.Plus points:Andrew pointing out his relationship with Summer wasn't that great and finally using the L word.
