I'll bet even Tubi regrets and is embarrassed to have their name associated with this mess.

I'm now convinced Justin Lee won the lottery. There is no way anyone or any company would fund any of Lee's films, because after 20 writing and 21 directing credits where every single one was a flop, he must be funding his own productions. The difference between this film and his past flops, is that there are some well known current and has-been actors this time around, and although you'll barely see any of them for more than a total of 5 minutes, I'm sure they all wanted to get paid, thus why I'm now convinced Lee won the lottery.

Even at a mere 94 min runtime, the entire film is slow, bland, underwhelming, cliched, predictable, (I could go on and on), and has been done thousands of times before, all much better. Every filmmaking mistake possible is in this mess. It even seemed that Lee put mics on that actors shoes, because you can hear them walking on gravel very loudly, more than them speaking dialogue. To say this is a B film would be an insult to the worst B films you've seen. This barely would qualify as a watchable C-film, if such a category existed. Maybe Lee is working towards a Razzie award, he'd clean up in every category. Even if you're a fan of Trejo, Dern or Tito Ortiz, don't waste your time, you'll barely see them. Lee should find a new hobby or take some of the lotto winnings and actually take a film school class or two or a hundred. I'm never going to see anything with his name attached to it again. So don't waste your time with this mess, I did it for you. It's a generous 2/10, all going to Trejo for the 5 mins I got to see him playing a sheriff lol.

Why don't we keep it

Warning: Spoilers
The film is inspired by D B Cooper incident. A man with stolen bank money jumps from a plane over Oregon. Three ex-military are hired by Bruce Dern's cameo to retrieve the money. The man was wearing a tracker. It is day one of hunting season and all the hunters are in the woods trying to score a buck and not shoot each other. Will (Chris 'C. T.' Tamburello) a lumberjack is out hunting and finds the money before the bad guys. This ends in a shoot-out. Will's lady friend Billy (Paige Sturges ) is also hunting. Danny Trejo plays a minor role as the local sheriff.

The airplane set was bad. The dialogue and directing needed a lot of help. Guys shooting at each other close range behind trees. The cheap budget made it unrealistic. Acting would have helped too.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Choose something else.

Low budget sometimes mean sacrifice quality
ammontreal-217 February 2024
This movie should not even be streaming. The producers sacrificed good writing, good plotting and strong character development to produce a movie about people shooting each other. The characters have no common sense. The story lacks a back story. Viewers with a modicum of appreciation for good storytelling will suffer watching this and may need a good ophthalmologist to treat their eyes for excessive eye rolling every time common sense was left out in telling this story. I wish I could give this movie a minus 10 rating. Poor set decoration! Illogical plot twists. For example since when the police and the FBI would not have supplemental officers in the hospital to protect our main character? Why would our main character not collect the weapons of the villains he killed? Why have a prolonged conversation with his woman friend while his foes are still lurking around and why not warn her of the lurking danger ?
