Barely anything happens

Warning: Spoilers
I can't stress enough how little happens in this film. It could be cut into a sub 15 minute short and still have the entire story.

A lot of the run time is just two of the characters strolling around random abandoned buildings in a desert.

It's quite near the end that we get to see some evil clowns and they're kinda interesting, and I liked the acting and costume choices. There's definitely some fun ideas dotted in the last 1/4 but they're never fully realised as most of the run time is just wasted dilly dallying about.

At the start of film they use a lot of AI-generated artwork and what looks like tiktok filters to animate them. On their own this could look quite fun and uncanny, but as everyone can immediately recognise these they really stand out as a cheap choice.

At the end I wasn't quite sure what this film was trying to achieve as it wasn't scary, funny or an engaging story and I felt it wasn't worth watching for good-bad movie fun.

He was a very bad clown

Warning: Spoilers
Paulina (Tabitha Stevens) is looking for her clown serial killer brother (Drew Marvick) in a desert area known as "The Devil's Playground." She convinces Drake (Topher Hansson) to help her as he desires to have sex with Paulina and she uses this to her advantage. In one scene she uses a metal detector to look for dead bodies, which she finds in spite of the fact there was no metal. The search is in a deserted mining community with Tarot cards painted on the walls. Eventually Paulina discovers what she searches for.

The film was boring. Adult film star Tabitha Stevens teases the audience with nudity that never delivers. I watched her and Drake walk around empty buildings with a bad sound track until I started to doze off. The feeding scene was also boring. They didn't have enough story to fill the time.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space this is NOT!

So I love a bad, cheesy movie as much as anyone (think Llamageddon, Sharknado, etc.) and I've suffered through quite a number of them. But this isn't even high school AV level material.

The 2 lead characters spend almost 30 minutes roaming through abandoned buildings in the desert, to an ear-bleedingly painful soundtrack (or rather, screech-track). Then one disappears and the other just leaves!!

The entire script is probably no more than 10 pages, delivered in complete deadpan. And I thought "My Dinner with Andre" was dreadfully slow...

The female lead has shifty eyes that roam all over the place, screaming "Dear God what did I sign up for!!!"

If you want something to help you sleep, this movie will do it in less than 15 minutes!
