Just wonderful

An amazing story from start to finish! Andrew has written an extremely comical story which you feel you are getting pulled into immediately. You feel like you are part of the story as they visualise it so well and Andrew and Natalie's characters (as well as them also portraying the other characters) provide nonstop entertainment! I laughed from start to finish. It is an absolute joy to listen to and also relax with. I Cannot wait for the next series already!! If you need a good laugh or want something to get really involved with, this story is definitely the one for you to listen too. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Podcast Perfection

What a wonderful piece of escapism. Letter from Helvetica is a wonderful tale of correspondence from two ends of the world, between two slightly quirky but very entertaining characters, John and his niece Abigail. The story is well written and so brilliantly performed by talented actors Andrew Mackintosh and Natalie Roles. Even the music alongside the story adds to the feel good factor of this podcast. It is an absolute joy to listen to, so much so I find myself looking forward to the next instalment. Letter from Helvetica is quite simply podcast perfection. I would highly recommend to listeners who enjoy some gentle humour and a good story. Letter from Helvetica is fully deserved of all ten stars!

Lose yourself to Letter From Helvetica

Eight, twenty minute episodes where you can lose yourself in the adventures of John and Abby who converse over email. Ideal listening in the car or if you are at home relaxing or pottering around.

Andrew Mackintosh's excellent writing together with his and Natalie Roles' performances elevate a format that in lesser hands would fail to ignite the imagination.

The detailed descriptions of events experienced by the main characters take you right to the heart of the story and before you know it, twenty minutes has flown by and the credits are being read out by one of the cast.

A second series is planned, hopefully it will be longer...

An Auditory Hug
kayscoble8 June 2023
Letter from Helvetica can only be described as an auditory hug - gentle and involving, drawing you into a well-crafted world. Gentle as the plot might be, the wit is sharp and well honed, and both Andrew Mackintosh and Natalie Roles inhabit the parts of John and Abby incredibly believably. The relationship portrayed between uncle and niece is deep and well-explored, and acted to perfection. It's easy to immerse yourself in the fictional environs of both Helvetica and Burbango, with both places painted in vivid brush strokes, with John and Abby's descriptions really bringing the places to life. I don't normally listen to audio books or podcasts, and this drew me in from the start. Absolutely love it!
