Sex & Nudity

  • A short scene of a woman showering in microgravity is in the movie, but her breasts and butt are blurred out. In the Amazon version her body parts are clearly visible (no bluring), so the shape and size of her breasts are quite clear, but the angle of her semi-athletic movements is always just exact to barely miss showing any details.
  • The female alien wears a sheer garment that leaves little to the imagination, including a "V" shaped piece of cloth in precisely the expected location.
  • The female first-mate is often dressed in very-form-fitting body armor that makes it quite obvious she is female.

Violence & Gore

  • There is a very brief, second-long shot of 2 drops of blood falling to the floor, but the scene is too dark to immediately recognize it as such and can easily be mistaken as water.
  • Heavy, heavy body count, but then, this is a space war movie. No wounds, gore or blood are ever shown.
  • There are countless battling scenes both in space and on starships, however it is not disturbing, little or no blood is shown.

Profanity

  • A lot of swearing

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Capitan Harlock and Mimay drink wine in a few scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are some dramatic scenes, but they are mostly intense from a psicological point of view, than from explicit seing of violence.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • There is a brief scene of a naked woman taking a shower. Buttocks are shown and a side and top view of a breasts are shown - the woman is lifted from the tub and does a flip while fully nude and tiny soap bubbles floating through the air somewhat block where her nipple would be.
