September 21, 2018, Omaha, Nebraska: Omaha police officers chase down the driver of a stolen conversion van who is driving recklessly. When they arrest the driver, Jeremiah Connelly, he shocks detectives by giving them an unsolicited confession to the kidnapping and gruesome suffocation murder of a local woman, 22-year-old Jeanna Wilcoxen. Connelly had abandoned her body in Fremont, Nebraska. In the end, Connelly, now age 40, is convicted of her murder and on September 10, 2019, is sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
