Late last year, before his directorial debut feature Hell of a Summer slashed into theaters, Finn Wolfhard and his co-director and creative partner Billy Bryk signed on to pen a remake of the '90s horror-comedy cult classic Idle Hands. Nathan Fillion was unhappy about Firefly cancellation, but it is doubtful whether he campaigned for a revival series as much as Alan Tudyk. The actor played Hoban “Wash” Washburne in the series, who was the pilot of the Serenity ship. Tudyk considers Joss Whedon’s cowboy space drama as one of the greatest television series ever.

Tudyk opened up about the cancellation of the series last year during an interview, where he refused to put the entire blame on Fox. It is true that the network rushed its decision to cancel the series after just one series, however, the ratings did not help the case of the series.

Fillion played Malcolm Reynolds, a former sergeant-turned-captain of the Serenity. He brings together a group of misfits as his crew. The adventures of Mal and his crew will get anyone hooked on the single-season run of this series.

If you haven’t noticed it yet, Alan Tudyk has been a champion for the Firefly revival in the last decade. Tudyk talks about his canceled space western whenever he gets the chance during interviews. Even though he realizes that his character might not return due to his death in the film Serenity, the actor wants the audience to experience Firefly all over again.

Kathryn Hahn is still riding the wave of success following the highly successful release of her standalone MCU show, Agatha All Along. The series continues Agatha’s journey after the events of WandaVision and her imprisonment at the hands of the Scarlet Witch.

While we would love to say that Agatha has found redemption along the way, the show’s ending makes it clear that not even death can quench her thirst for more power. In the final moments, Agatha takes Billy Maximoff under her wing, leaving fans wondering what comes next for the character.

We know that Agatha lost her powers after the events of WandaVision, but by the end of her own show, she successfully regains them. However, there’s a catch—Agatha is currently dead and exists in ghost form. This raises the question: is she now more powerful than before, or has her strength diminished?

While it seems likely that 28 Years Later will be significantly different from its predecessors in more ways than one, new details surrounding its character beats suggest it will repeat a change 28 Weeks Later made to the original Danny Boyle movie. After 28 Weeks Later's underwhelming critical performance, it seemed like the apocalyptic movie franchise had ended. Many rumors surrounding its return kept floating around for several decades. However, the flywheels of a new installment's production did not start moving until recently.

Titled 28 Years Later, the third part of the sci-fi movie franchise is all set to feature another collaboration between Danny Boyle and Alex Garland. Scheduled to be released on June 20, 2025, it is planned to mark the inception of another trilogy of movies. While only time will tell whether 28 Years Later will be as commercially and critically successful as the franchise's first installment, it seems to share one intriguing parallel with 28 Weeks Later.

None of 28 Years Later's confirmed stars are the movie's lead, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson seemingly reveals during a new interview.

During an appearance on Mythical Kitchen's series in which guests eat their last meal, Aaron Taylor-Johnson seemingly revealed that 28 Years Later's lead is a 13-year-old actor named Alfie, not any of the major stars confirmed for the project so far. The team at Mythical is expanding their streaming entertainment empire.

Mythical, which is behind the hit YouTube series Good Mythical Morning, is launching a free, 24/7 ad-supported streaming channel on Samsung TV Plus. It will be the first Fast channel on the Samsung platform from a creator studio.

Mythical was founded by Gmm hosts and YouTube creators Rhett & Link, and has since expanded to include other shows like Buddy System, podcasts like Ear Biscuits and channels like Mythical Kitchen. The Fast channel will be programmed with shows from across the Mythical portfolio, with Samsung also picking up Rhett & Link’s 2017 YouTube series Buddy System, which will be available on VOD. It will be the first time Buddy System has been available outside of YouTube.

Firefly star Alan Tudyk has opened up on the TV show's unexpected cancellation and the enduring fandom. Created by Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Joss Whedon, the space Western follows the adventures of war vet Captain Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and his renegade crew of smugglers aboard the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity. Debuting on Fox in September 2002, the series received low ratings, and, after 11 of its 14 produced episodes were broadcast, Firefly was cancelled in December of that same year. However, it sold strongly on DVD and has developed a cult following.

In an episode of Mythical Kitchen on YouTube, Tudyk, who played pilot Hoban 'Wash' Washburne on the show, has reflected on the cancelation and the enduring fandom, as it continues to be held in high regard more than 20 years later. When asked, "What is it about Firefly that caused such a fervent fandom?" the star responded by dubbing it the "greatest TV show ever.

Cleidocranial dysplasia is a rare genetic disorder affecting bone formation that Matarazzo had since he was born.
