'I Was in Trouble': Isabela Merced Recalls Accidentally Dropping Superman Movie Spoiler
Image
While Isabela Merced is awaiting her April 13 debut on the new season of The Last of Us, she revealed she has learned her lesson about inadvertently letting spoilers slip out about her projects. Merced is set to play Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl in James Gunn’s upcoming Supermanmovie, and she told Entertainment Weekly she’s playing it safe after she unintentionally dropped a spoiler for the highly-anticipated superhero flick.

Merced, during a table read for Superman, sat in her spot with her character’s name on it and accidentally dropped the spoiler via her Instagram story. “I wasn’t even looking at anything else. I just saw my name, and then I saw ‘Hawkgirl, Isabela.’ I was like, F*** yeah! I’m going to share this, put it on my (Instagram) Story,” Merced said.

"It Was There": Chris Pratt Reacts to His Missing Chair During the 'Avengers: Doomsday' Casting News
Image
Chris Pratt has confirmed his future as Star-Lord after not being one of the names announced for the Avengers: Doomsday cast. Pratt’s Star-Lord has been a staple in the MCU after first debuting in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), and he even appeared in the final two Avengers movies of the Infinity Saga, Infinity War and Endgame. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 served as a send-off for the core group of Guardians that Marvel fans had fallen in love with, but the closing title card of the movie confirmed that Star-Lord would return in the future. During a recent interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub to talk about his upcoming sci-fi thriller, Mercy, Pratt confirmed that he and Marvel will make good on that promise:

“I can't say, for fans of mine, where they'll see Star-Lord again, but I can tell them we made a promise at the...

Image

Speaking to Collider’s Steve Weintraub at CinemaCon while promoting his upcoming sci-fi thriller Mercy, Pratt offered a major update on Amazon’s hit action series, and his excitement about the upcoming season couldn't be more evident.

The first season of the show was a massive hit for Prime Video, racking up massive viewership numbers as the way it approached both government corruption but also Ptsd seemed to really strike a chord with audiences. Now, according to Pratt, the Terminal List universe is gearing up the next stage. “I just got back from Africa. We've already started filming. It's going to be un-fucking-real, dude. I'm telling you,” Pratt said. “The footage we've gotten already, we've set the bar so high for ourselves. We're taking it out of the darkness of,...

Image
Riding high off “Challengers,” Luca Guadagnino is teaming up again with Amazon MGM Studios for “After the Hunt,” a tense drama and thriller starring Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, and Andrew Garfield.

In what was Amazon MGM’s first presentation at CinemaCon, Guadagnino, Edebiri, and Garfield took the stage at the Colosseum to present the trailer for the film ahead of the movie’s release on October 17, 2025.

The film follows Roberts as a college professor who is caught up in a political and personal crisis when one of her star pupils (Edebiri) accuses one of her fellow professors of an act of abuse. Let’s just say it was a pretty tense experience, one that grapples with the culture wars and generational divide in the post-#MeToo era in fascinating ways.

Garfield referred to Guadagino as “a radical artist” and that it was a “dream come true to be directed by a living master,...

Image
Imagine if an advanced AI program put you on trial for murder…and you had 90 minutes prove your innocence or die.

That’s the premise of “Mercy,” which got an extended trailer during Amazon MGM’s presentation. Chris Pratt came onstage to show the chair he sits in for the duration of the film, in which he plays an LAPD detective who helped create the Mercy program, and is now facing its judgement for the murder of his wife.

Mercy, which is played by Rebecca Ferguson, gives the detective full access to its surveillance, forensics, and criminal investigation systems. He has 90 minutes to comb the system and find his wife’s killer and prove his innocence. If he doesn’t get Mercy’s “guilt threshold” below 92% with enough evidence, he will be immediately executed.

“Emilia started…screaming”: Jason Momoa Almost Badly Injured Game of Thrones Showrunner After a Funny Moment Turned Sour
Image
Jason Momoa is best known for his role as Aquaman in the Dceu, but he first gained his shot at fame with Game of Thrones. The actor played the Dothraki emperor Khal Drogo and was paired up with Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen. Momoa’s brief but memorable performance as the silent and brooding Khal impressed fans and critics alike.

Looking at Momoa, it is obvious that he is a strong man, who has severely bulked up since his short stint on Game of Thrones. However, co-creator and showrunner David Benioff reportedly took the foolish journey to discovering just how strong Momoa was by challenging him to not one but two tests of strength, thus severely injuring himself.

What Happened To The Cast Of Star Trek: Voyager?
Image
It's taken a while, but it feels like we're hitting peak "Star Trek: Voyager" nostalgia these days. It was not always like this: On the heels of "The Next Generation" movies and the sprawling war saga of "Deep Space Nine," the premise of "Voyager," which hurled a Federation ship to the other side of the universe where it presumably would encounter nothing familiar, wasn't as compelling. Initial new aliens like the Kazon were duds, and when the show tried to course-correct, it may have overdone it on the Borg storylines. For the first time, but not the last, it began to feel like there was too much "Star Trek."

However, fans have been going back to "Voyager" and discovering it more old-school charms since the streaming era kicked in -- and especially during the pandemic lockdown. The animated "Star Trek: Prodigy" serves as a sequel of sorts, bringing back multiple...

Why ABC Cancelled Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital After One Season
Image
Given that he's one of the most popular novelists in the history of American literature, it's not surprising that the novels and short stories of Stephen King have been adapted for film and television myriad times since the publication of his first book, "Carrie," in 1974. Obviously, we're all well aware of the many great movies that have been spawned by his work as well as the disasters, but these adaptations are so plentiful that it's easy to forget some of the merely meh-to-good ones that exist.

Yes, there was a big studio rendition of "Hearts of Atlantis" starring Anthony Hopkins and a young Anton Yelchin, and, no, you didn't imagine "The Night Flier" or "Mercy." The television adaptations are particularly easy to forget because, well, most of them are utterly, aggressively forgettable. A "Rose Red" miniseries really happened, and "Desperation" actually was turned into a TV movie. With depressingly few exceptions,...

In a surprising and heartwarming move, Blizzard Entertainment has announced the return of the beloved Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch 2, along with the introduction of a new Rose Gold Mercy Bundle. This decision has not only brought joy to the game’s dedicated fan base but has also inadvertently solved a long-standing issue that has plagued the community for years: the account/skin-trading black market.

The Pink Mercy skin, originally released way back in 2018 as part of a collaboration with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (Bcrf), was a limited-time offering that helped raise an impressive $12.7 million for the charity. However, its limited availability also gave rise to a thriving black market, where accounts with the rare skin were sold for hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars.

Exclusive: Ji-young Yoo says she was thrown in at “the deep end of things“ when she shot Prime Video’s limited series Expats, playing the central figure of Mercy, a character around whom everyone else orbits.

“I was thrown in,” she says laughing. “But it’s really been a whole super swim,” she says of playing Mercy, a Columbia graduate, in the six-part series written and directed by Lulu Wang. Adapted from Janice Y.K Lee’s 2016 bestselling novel Expatriates, the series follows, from disparate points of view, the lives of three women who are part of the international community in Hong Kong, and who are drawn together following a heartbreaking tragedy.

Yoo’s first day on set in Hong Kong, with no prior rehearsal, had her shooting a huge key scene opposite Nicole Kidman, who plays Margaret, a landscape gardener who comes to know Mercy through tumultuous circumstances.

Amy Robach at an event for Stand by Me (1986)
Amy Robach revealed she developed a new perspective on how she thinks after dealing with the fallout from her and T.J. Holmes’ publicized affair.

As headlines began swirling about them over a year ago, ABC removed Robach and Holmes as co-hosts of their afternoon spin-off of Good Morning America, GMA3. The network ultimately terminated them.

Headlines continued with gossip about the couple, as each had spouses at the time, but they’ve since maintained that they were in the process of getting divorced. Both Holmes and Robach are now divorced.

In the series, Reis plays Evangeline Navarro, a half-Dominican state trooper in Ennis, a fictional town in rural northern Alaska. Reis spoke to the Awards Circuit Podcast about her interpretation of...

Posthumous Alan Vega Solo Album, ‘Insurrection,’ to Arrive Ahead of Biography
Image
Treasures from the archives of the late Suicide frontman Alan Vega and his widow, Liz Lamere, will come out in the year ahead. The first will be a solo album, Insurrection, that Vega recorded in the late Nineties, and its latest single, “Cyanide Soul,” sounds as unsettling as Suicide’s Seventies recordings. A mechanical rhythm propels its way through Vega’s and Lamere’s icy, synthy atmospheres as Vega whispers in a menacing way about cyanide. It’s just as eerie as “Mercy,” the first track to be released from Insurrection,...

The Native Howl Drop New Single ‘Mercy’ Featuring Lzzy Hale of Halestorm
Image
Purveyors of their own distinctive, genre-blurring sound “Thrash Grass”, The Native Howl has released their gritty new single and official music video for “Mercy” featuring Lzzy Hale of Halestorm (via Sumerian Records). With foreboding, foot-stomping rhythm, and the band’s raw intensity paired with Lzzy’s inimitable vocals, “Mercy” is bound to rattle listeners down to the bone. When asked about today’s release, the band shared:

“‘Mercy’ was written as our original Thrash Grass anthem, and to have our vocal hero Lzzy Hale singing on it is nothing short of a dream come true!

‘Mercy’ subtly tells the story of infamous Boston gangster Whitey Bulger, and the dichotomy of dark and light between him and his disgraced politician brother William. While pulling from additional themes of organized religion and corruption, the music bed’s growth in intensity throughout attempts to paint the process of all evil and wrong-doing slowly being brought to light.
