So the search for the cure leads them to a island, I love the whole cure storyline and taking it to a island was a fun little change of scenery, overall great episode if only rebecca was not such a spoiled little cry baby trying to mess up everything

After Jeremy killed Kol in A view to a kill than Shane leads the group (into the wild) and takes Elena, Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, Jeremy, and Rebekah to the Island in which Silas is imprisoned.
While there he remembers being there a year ago. Shane reveals more about Silas, Qetsiyah and The Cure as well as his and the Islands history. Shane reveals to them that there is magical well that he were and saw his dead wife after making himself bleed. After having a confrontation with Damon and Bonnie on his motivations and usage of them he is interrogated by Damon.
After revealing more information he starts questioning Damon on how he feels about the prospect of a human Elena. A furious Damon tries to kill him though Elena stops him. Shane takes the opportunity to escape with Silas's headstone and meets up with Massak(Shane's witch) who has kidnapped Jeremy and a lured Bonnie. Then they head for Silas's tomb. And on the other hand Damon left Elena and find a way to out of the island. When Rebekah finds that the stone is no longer in her bag she's got mad and hurt Elena for all of this happened then Stefan reached and convinced Rebekah that the stone was not stolen by Elena it was stolen by Shane.
In the end when Damon was find a way out of the island suddenly a man came up and grab his neck, Damon said you're one from the five and right after that the man twisted his neck and the show ends.

Nova Scotian Hikers

The gang shows up on an island. Professor Shane leads the way. He brought them to this Nova Scotian island as Silas is supposed to be buried here. I love their hiker outfits. Very Canadian and looks comfortable. Stylish as well.
The group finds a campsite where college kids were found dead drained of blood. Damon and Elena have a moment together where Elena kisses him and puts her head against his chest.
In the morning Jeremy is gone. Elena, Stefan and Rebekah venture out into the woods together to find him. Bonnie stays behind to do a locator spell and Shane says he will too to ensure she is okay. Damon says he will stay behind to make sure he isn't lying. Stefan saves Rebekah from an arrow and they have a moment against a tree where there is tension as he holds her against a tree. Rebekah tells him to stop playing as Elena might be lurking around.
Elena goes back to their campsite and can't find anyone. Bonnie, Jeremy, Shane, and Damon are all gone.
Shane has gone to where Jeremy is - he is with a witch named Massuk. Bonnie has found them through the locator spell. Shane says she will never find her way back without him. He is basically threatening them.
