Riveting, chilling, hilarious and absolutely incredible documentary
rosenjacob28 December 2019
An incredible journey around the world. I found out about this film through 'The Islands' movie from the same director.

A brilliant montage of interviews around the world, includes scenes that made me cry.

Thank you so much for everyone's hard work on this incredible epic journey. Well worth watching!

I agree this is a massive wake up call for an entire nation
garyyoung5073 March 2020
This could be a serious wake up call for a proud Christian country. I have always wondered how people can still call it the greatest Christian nation if it does nothing to win people to Christ. This film goes around the world to show how people came to God in amazing circumstances. I especially loved the Cairo and London sequences.

Please, cast aside your religious prejudices and watch this film with an open mind. It will stun and amaze you and will bring many people to Christ. I understand it took them 3 years to make this film. Kudos too for that.

Changed my Life.....
universityofhawaii31 December 2019
.........I'll never be able to THANK the filmmakers for this documentary! It has changed my life. The power of Jesus Christ is unmistakable around the globe. The raw courage of these guys going around the world and risking their lives in certain areas tells it. I saw this on Daystar TV a couple years ago and it still stays with me. I also saw their basketball film that was amazing......God bless everyone here.

Wow.. just wow
glenduval24 January 2016
I just got done watching this movie and no other movie I have seen in my life has had the impact on me that this movie has had.

This movie is an incredible, breathtaking journey of discovery in God. WOW. These guys went to 36 countries to find stories of people who discovered God and God's profound love and power available to all who seek him (Jeremiah 29:11).

After just watching the movie, I can say that this is the most important film that is going to be released in 2016. It may be the most important film for some time after, as well.

See this film. You owe it to yourself.

THIS IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL, DARING MASTERPIECE
richardescogara17 March 2021
By far the greatest and best faith-based documentaries ever made. Everyone needs to watch this. I have no idea how many hours it must have taken to film this, and it seems like the people who made this are totally out of their minds for Jesus!

I remember someone telling me about this but I didn't comprehend it until I watched this 'Epic Journey'. THANK YOU so much for making this film.

THIS IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL, DARING MASTERPIECE and of course with the danger of following Christ at all costs itself included.

I don't know how they got those shots and the audio, even the music just like the rush when you first turned your life over to God, and the story with narration slaps you with the cold harsh of reality around the world of people who are won over for Christ at all costs again. You are watching a book of life with enough drama and some bitter truth in every paradise, because life is never perfect. Following Jesus is never easy.

I'm very thankful for whomever people that makes this show to be realized, from the smallest task to the most dangerous. God bless you. This film changed my life forever.

In times of world-wide despair, there is hope
DenverMan700218 April 2021
This is probably the most awe-inspiring, God-honoring documentary I have seen of why all of us here and why Jesus came to earth. Awesome. After having a bad day... watch this. Your problems will seem insignificant compared to life in general. People around the world have gone through horrific suffering, but all roads lead to Christ But this will illustrate the type of struggles we had to endure to get here. Humbling. Young people need to know they have a true Savior. A Savior who redeems.....

Just amazing - agree with everyone
lexmorton0014 April 2021
This is so worth watching, its like, learning about GOD, we humans are so much adaptive to any situation & environment, but without the Lord we're nothing....i didn't know till i watched this series about how so many people came to Christ...awesome captures & shots, i salute the hosts and crew to take such risks of their lives to bring us these huge ocean of knowledge about a world that found God! The most amazing thing was the African stories and then Cairo about whom we had very less knowledge, & i wonder how the crew members managed to shoot there & how they found these amazing stories....what a difficult task; & i really appreciate their shooting of also of London and the evangelist, then in the planes, everything is so perfect, so brilliant, i just want to say, thanks for bringing these to us.

Highly Significant Documentary
michaelheiser-250998 November 2021
This is a 5-star film. Every now and then a documentary comes along which transcends being merely informative to actually being thought provoking and challenging.

"The Epic Journey" is such a work. The filmmakers have done a superlative job of bringing together much powerful, God-changing, Christ-honoring material around the globe and presenting it in such a way that constantly engages the intellect as well as emotions. Everyone has a chance to find God - truly evidenced by the African woman who heads an orphanage or the Yakuza gang member --seems to be a message conveyed by this powerful film. As a result, these images and messages of lives changed from Singapore to London to Lagos tend to remain in the memory long after viewing the film. They tend to persist and won't easily go away. This is as it should be, for we have a good deal to account for in terms of our own pursuit of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's long time that we reassess ourselves and become much more Christ-centered world in every aspect of our existence if you are truly born again. "The Epic Journey" is a major leap in documentary filmmaking. Don't miss this incredible experience. 5 stars out of 5.

Once in a lifetime film.....sometimes you see something that is once in a lifetime.

I was so blessed to see this film at a screening a while back, then was so ELATED that the film made it to prime-time TV on a Saturday night.

These guys REALLY went around the world and I agree with the other person that it REALLY feels like you took the trip around the world.

The stories are earth-shattering, impossible and incredible. GOD IS A GOD OF IMPOSSIBLITY MADE POSSIBLE. Never forget that!

Kudos to everyone involved in this magnificent production!!! Again, MUST SEE movie.

The Epic Journey (2015)

***** (out of 5)

TV Channel: Epoch TV.

Superb documentary. Highly engrossing. Told in very intriguing fashion by narrators Annie Sim and Tim Chey and written and directed by Tim Chey - the camera team go around the world to seek out stories of these people who found the Lord. It's truly epic and enlightening and will most definitely renew your faith in God and give you incredible insight into the Lord's awesome miracles in people's lives.

I absolutely love this documentary. I think it is spot on at capturing all these incredible stories in over 29 countries.

I saw this on Youtube
hughes_gerald19 September 2022
I mean Tokyo, Kenya, Egypt, London - they went everywhere - you can watch this for free on Youtube - just put 'Epic Journey movie' and you'll see it. Thank you to the incredible filmmakers for showing us how powerful our Lord and Savior is.

The most powerful story was in Paris France where that pastor talked about his battle with alcohol and drugs and finding Christ after finding himself at the very bottom of his life. Such an incredible testimony.

Also the Yakuza Gang member in Tokyo who became a Pastor! What an incredible story!!!

If you watch this film and don't come to Christ, it's your own fault in the end.

God bless everyone.
