A decent entertaining and comedic movie from Korea, just not all that memorable
KineticSeoul14 July 2013
This is actually a decent retelling of Mark Twain's "The Prince & The Pauper" and it's set in Korea. It's a alright retelling and does have it's moments and entertainment value. But nothing much to make it stick. It just showed up into Korean theaters and disappeared as quickly with hardly any mention of it by the media. A movie called "Masquerade" came out during the same year which has a similar premise going for it and made a hit. Maybe that is because it had Lee Byung-Hun in it who is a top star in Korea. But this movie was a bit of a flop, which is kinda unfortunate because it's actually a decent movie. Nothing spectacular or a movie that will stick around for a long time. But it has decent entertainment and comedic value with some good morals. Personally I enjoyed this movie, it's a fun watch. I didn't think it was all that memorable but I had a good time sitting through it the first time.
