Mindy is on a carriage ride date in the park and when the horse falls it is shot in the head ruining the atmosphere of the date. Danny brings the assistants in on a Saturday which does not go over well with them. Danny does this because he wants to expand the practice. Mindy and Jeremy do not have to come in on the Saturday. Gwen and her daughter decide to stay at Mindy's while Gwen's husband is away. Danny runs the office not well giving out many orders to everyone. Mindy calls Morgan to come to her apartment to help make a bunk bed for when Gwen arrives. Morgan goes to Mindy's but after some time along comes Danny forcing Morgan to go back to work while Danny stays back to make the bunk bed. Mindy talks to Danny who tells her Gwen having a daughter will not have the fun girls weekend but with a daughter will have to look after the daughter. Gwen and her daughter Reilly arrive when the bunk bed is complete. Gwen sits on the bunk bed which breaks causing Gwen to be taken to the hospital. The assistants at the office read Danny's letter from his ex and they feel sorry for him. Mindy is then left alone with Reilly but finds it strange to look after the young child. Danny rushes Gwen in to the hospital skipping a women with an eye-patch (Allison Williams) but Danny decides to take a look at her eye. Boring episode, Mindy is now strange to me because the character unlike fellow quirky girl Jess just does not have other well written characters around to make her well written. Nothing to talk about and am mad because I really wanted Mindy to make a special show for herself.
